AcuScan120 Fractional Wrinkle
Reduction
The visible signs of aging are caused by changes
deep in the layers of the skin. To improve skin tone
and remove imperfections, AcuScan120 Fractional
Wrinkle Reduction treats deep into your skin to
create new collagen to improve your skin tone. The
end result is a dramatic improvement in wrinkles, fine
lines, and skin tone and texture – in one treatment.
Is AcuScan120 Fractional Wrinkle
Reduction right for you?
How does it work?
AcuScan120 Fractional Wrinkle Reduction utilizes
a very narrow laser microbeam, about the width of
a human hair, to remove columns of tissue deep
into the layers of the skin. This initiates the body’s
natural wound healing response which heals the
surrounding zone of affected skin by creating new
elastic collagen.1 The new collagen foundation
works to improve skin tone and pull wrinkles out
as well as plumping from within. The result is
improvement in the appearance of wrinkles, fine
lines, skin tone and texture – in one treatment,
and with minimal downtime.
Where on the body can AcuScan120
be used?
AcuScan120 is commonly used on the face,
around the lips, for crows feet, the neck, upper
chest, hands and arms.
What is an AcuScan120 Fractional
Wrinkle Reduction treatment like?
AcuScan120 is typically performed in a physician’s
office. First, your physician will numb your skin with
a topical anesthetic to aid in treatment comfort.
During the procedure, you will feel a warm sensation
as the laser is applied. Your total treatment time will
last approximately 30 minutes, though total time will
vary depending on the area treated. Immediately
following treatment, your skin will be warm, and may
be slightly red. Your physician will provide you with
a skin care regimen to follow for the days following
your treatment and as your skin heals, you will begin
to notice an improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, tone
and texture. You should be able to begin normal
activities within a day or two depending on the
treatment received. You should expect to continue
to see improvement for up to six months following
the procedure.
AcuScan120 may be the ideal treatment option if you:
FRACTIONAL LASER PATTERN
• Want to improve fine lines, wrinkles, skin tone
and texture
“fractional” columns of
high-energy laser light
• Want to achieve dramatic results in only one
treatment
“bridges” of untouched
skin promote healing
• Want a procedure that has minimal down time
What is AcuScan120 Fractional
Wrinkle Reduction?
A high-energy laser beam is applied in a fractional
pattern over the surface of the treatment area,
leaving areas of untouched skin to promote
quicker healing.
AcuScan120 is a fractional CO2 laser that targets
wrinkles, fine lines, and skin tone and texture with
minimal downtime. Fractional treatments treat only
a fraction of the skin, leaving bridges of untouched
skin that aid in the healing process and reduce
healing times enabling you to return to normal
activities quicker.
