Showcase must be free of noticeable “holes” in

Matterport wants to promote your work!
Follow the guidelines below to have your 3D Showcase be considered for publicity.
Showcase must be free of
noticeable “holes” in Dollhouse
and Floorplan view.
Scan properties throughly and around large
objects to reduce these holes. Reference
the floorplan preview in Capture for
completeness before leaving the site.
All windows and mirrors must be
properly marked.
Use the Mark Features tool in Capture to
mark windows and mirrors as you scan. Make
sure to confirm proper label orientation
(Inside/Outside).
Perimeters must be clean and
free of extraneous “spray.”
Properly marking windows and mirrors will
eliminate most cases of extraneous “spray”
outside the model’s perimeter. If needed, use
the Trim tool to remove residual spray.
Walk-through experience must
be smooth.
Scan positions should be of consistent
height and spacing to provide the best walkthrough experience in Inside view. Deactivate
unnecessary or redundant scan positions in
Workshop to achieve this.
Please refer to the Help panel in the Capture App, or to support.matterport.com, for detailed instructions to optimize your scans.
