PRIZE MONEY: 2.1 Rs. 3 Lakhs (Rupees Three Lakhs only) shall be paid to the Players in proportion as per norms (details given hereinafter) without deduction of any Taxes or TDS. Tax / TDS, if any, shall be borne by the host Association. 2.2 The distribution of prize money shall be as per the table in Annexure A of BAI and shall be signed by the BAI observer and placed on the notice board. 3. 3.1 EVENTS TO BE ORGANISED: The tournament will be organised in following Events Boys Singles - U-13 Boys Singles - U-15 Boys Doubles - U-13 Boys Doubles - U-15 Girls Singles - U-13 Girls Singles - U-15 Girls Doubles - U- 13 Girls Doubles - U- 15 3.2 The tournament will be organised in following age groups with specified eligibility criteria relating to the date of birth: Group Sub-Juniors Sub-Juniors Age under years as on the reference date 15 years 13 years Born on or after 1st January, 2001 1st January, 2003 4. MODE OF COMPETITION: 4.1 All the matches in the main and qualifying draw shall be played best of three games of 21 points on a rally point system. However if the number of entries are more than expectation, the Referee in consultation with the Organising Committee and the Observer, BAI may take the decision to conduct the qualifying round matches in best of Three (3) games of 15 points each. (without extension) 5. ENTRIES: 5.1 The Entries shall be received by BAI as per the existing system with a copy to org.Secretary. The entries are to be received through Affiliated Units. (Direct entries from the Players are not valid). This system shall be executed simultaneously besides the above shortly. 5.2 Entries shall not be accepted without BAI I.D. It is proposed that all BAI affiliated units should maintain State ID’s, at the state level after verifying the original DOB certificates registered in Municipal Corporation/ Gram Panchayat / Department of Birth & Death registration office certifying the date and year of the birth. Academies and States to discourage the training to the players found overage as per the report of Medical Commission. Affidavit from parents on 50 rupees stamp paper is to be submitted attested by the Notary in original along with copy of the Birth Certificate duly Notarised. Minimum 30 days are required to allot BAI-ID. 5.3 At the close of entries, the Tournament Planner will provide the list of participants.3 5.4 The list of participants in order of strength will be displayed on BAI website. It shall be the responsibility of the Affiliated Unit and the players to ensure that all the entries forwarded by the Affiliated Units appear in the M & Q ( Main & Qualifying ) List. After the Last Date for withdrawals without penalty, no complaints shall be entertained for miss out of any entry. BAI will not be responsible for any omissions or correction of names thereafter. 6. ENTRY FEES: 6.1 The entry fees for qualifying rounds shall be as follows. Singles events of all categories Doubles events of all categories Rs. 500/- per player Rs. 1000/- per pair Players selected to participate in the main draw of any tournament shall not be liable to pay any entry fees. 6.2 The host Association shall be responsible for collection of entry fees from the players. 7. DRAW: 7.1 The maximum draw size of the main draw shall be as under: Referee rule strictly. WITHDRAWALS: 8.1 If there are any withdrawals notified by the Member Association after the close of entries, the same shall be intimated to BAI immediately with a copy to the organizers before the closing date of withdrawal. 8.2 Any player failing to participate in any BAI approved tournaments after draw is made, he/she is liable to pay Rs:1000/- ( one thousand ) fine to BAI before participating in next tournament. No exemption under any grounds (including medical) will be allowed in payment of fine. No player is permitted to participate in the next tournament without paying fine. Referee shall submit the withdrawal list to BAI within 24 hours after completion of the tournament with a copy to the Secretary(T), and the organizers of next tournament. The fine amount will be receivable by the Organisers. The Secretary (T) will send withdrawal list to concerned Member Associations. 9. PROTEST 9.1 The fees for lodging protest of any kind shall be Rs. 1 0 0 0 /-. This fee shall be retained by the organizers of the event. Any protest shall be addressed to the Org.Secretary in writing within one hour after completion of the match. 10. TECHNICAL OFFICIALS: 10.1 The Court Officials shall be nominated by BAI. Referee Dy.Referee Match Control Umpires : : : : One One One 12 to 16 members. 10.2 In addition to the Referee(s) nominated above, the Host Organisers shall nominate one Local Deputy Referee, one Umpires’ Control, one Announcer and One Media relation officer to assist the Referee with sufficient line judges to conduct the Tournament smoothly. 10.3 There shall be 2 umpires nominated per court. The local state umpires and national level umpires may be in equal proportion. If the State does not have adequate number of State / National Umpires then BAI TOC will nominate more National Umpires to complete the shortfall. All the Technical Officials will be provided with the facilities as specified in Annexure B of BAI. 11. EQUIPMENT SPONSOR: 11.1 As per contract of BAI with Yonex, organisers shall be provided with 150 tubes of Yonex AS-3 Shuttlecocks. Additional shuttle cocks shall be purchased by the organisers. 11.2 Yonex will be entitled to 10nos. of A Sign Boards per court and 20% of banners placed in the main venue and one sale stall. The cost of making the ‘A’ boards and banners shall be borne by Sunrise Sports (India) Pvt Ltd. 12. OTHER POINTS: 12.1 The Organizers shall issue a suitable circular with all the details about the tournament to the Hon. Secretaries of Affiliated Units of BAI giving details of Venue, nearby Hotels with Tariff with phone numbers and any other facilities to be provided by the host Association, route, distance from Railway station, Airport etc. 13. FACILITIES 13.1 Free Boarding shall be provided to the players seeded 1-16 in singles and 1-8 in Doubles(Amongst Participants) of the main round list in all ranking Tournaments (as per seeding order of final Main Draw list.). 14.
