PRESS RELEASE
BRAZILIAN AMBASSADOR TO TAKE
PART IN TIACA’s EXECUTIVE SUMMIT
Miami, FL, USA, Tuesday, 12th May, 2015 – TIACA has invited
His Excellency, Ambassador Helio Vitor Ramos Filho of Brazil in
Miami, to address a workshop examining the challenges for air
cargo in the Brazilian market at TIACA’s Executive Summit on the
20th of May.
Joined by Deputy Consul Bruno Rodrigues, he will attend the debate
on how to make the air cargo market in Brazil more competitive.
“Latin America is an exciting market with lots of opportunity, but
understanding the challenges to operating there is important to
succeed,” said Doug Brittin, Secretary General, TIACA.
“Transit times, often due to customs procedures for air cargo in
Brazil are some of the longest in the world, for example, and that is
something we will be looking into at the Summit.
“We look forward to the Ambassador and Deputy Consul’s insights.”
The Brazil session is part of a series of workshops and panel
discussions focusing on the opportunities and challenges of the Latin
American market, as well as globally.
The three-day Executive Summit, between the 19th and the 21st
May, will also host debates and information sessions tackling some
of the main issues affecting air cargo users globally, including the
latest developments on Lithium battery regulations, and Advance
Data rules.
TIACA is co-locating its event with the Cool Chain Association, which
will be hosting its conference, Improving The Perishable Air Cargo
Supply Chain, in Miami on the 18th and 19th of May 2015.
Delegates registering to both events benefit from a discount.
