Housed in Eastbourne’s Victorian shopping precinct with a sunny glass roof, Really
Scrump-ous Cake Company sells and bakes cupcakes to die for on the premises, as well as
offer cupcake baking classes and cupcake decora-ng par-es to have a go yourself!
Classes run on a Monday and/or Wednesday evening and a min. 4 people are required to
run the class. You each make from scratch 12 cupcakes – bake and decorate them to take
home! All ingredients provided along with tea/coffee. Or opt for the Giant Cupcake Class
and you will bake a giant cupcake to take home with you to decorate yourself at home, as
well as decorate a giant cupcake that has been baked for you, which you will take home.

revival of the sewing machine, The Owl and the Sewing Cat is a beau-ful shop packed full
of contemporary easy sew fabrics and haberdashery equipment and materials. They are
also on a mission to get as many people as possible sewing, and run sewing lessons for
those wan-ng to learn with simple kits also available.
Open Sewing Workshops available for beginners & improvers - £15 per session – come
along and learn to use a sewing machine and make an easy project such as cushions, bags,
bun-ng, aprons or seasonal projects. Experts will be on hand to give you ideas and advice.
Or improvers can come along each week and learn to make a new project picking up new
skills and various techniques each week, such as piping, zips, bu.onholes, appliqué etc.
