How to enter
To enter, email your image(s) to [email protected] by midnight on the 21 June 2015 and provide
the following information in your email:
Applicant name
Applicant address
Contact telephone number
Contact email address
Entry Terms & Conditions:
1.
The Competition is open to all photographers aged 18 or over.
2.
Maximum 5 entries per person.
3.
Each image can only be entered once. Duplicates will be removed.
4.
The image must have been created in the past three years and be your original work.
5.
You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all images entered.
6.
Source material or proof of permission to use must be made available on request by Gravesham Borough Council.
7.
Gravesham Borough Council does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced images.
8.
All images should be taken in the borough of Gravesham and must include a significant flora and/or fauna element.
Please also try and include something that shows it is our Borough.
9.
To enter, email the image to [email protected] by midnight on the 21 June 2015.
10. Images should be submitted as jpgs. Each jpg should be between 1MB and 5MB in file size.
11. All entries must be submitted with the entry form.
12. Gravesham Borough Council takes no responsibility for corrupted or late entries.
13. By entering your image, you grant Gravesham Borough Council the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any
purpose at any time in any media with attribution.
14. The winners consent to the use of their image, name and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Gravesham
Borough Council, without further compensation.
15. A small select committee will choose the top 30 images.
16. These images will be displayed in the Blake Gallery during the week of 29 June 2015 and at Town Centric during the
week of 6 July 2015 for public voting.
17. The top 12 images voted by the public will be used in the 2016 calendar.
18. The winning image will be judged by the Mayor of Gravesham and this will be used as the front page of the calendar
and the photographer will receive a prize.
19. Gravesham Borough Council’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final. No correspondence will be
entered into.
