We appreciate that this is a time for big change—
nearly all of you will be in a new city, as well as in a
new country. Living with others in the same situation helps make these
challenges fun! Not only that—people you live with during your first year
of school often go on to become your friends for life.
You will be a part of a vibrant community in the heart of uptown Oakland,
a place full of great food, music, and the arts. You will quickly make
friends with your Resident Advisors, who organize group activities, answer questions, and give you a hand when you need one. Getting to the
school is easy: it only takes between 30 and 40 minutes to travel to the
Hult campus in San Francisco using the nearby BART station and our
new Hult shuttle in San Francisco.
Following a USD 10 million renovation, Hult Lodge is perhaps the finest
student residence in the Bay Area. Limited to 160 students, the Lodge
features fantastic public spaces, including a full gym, and a large, restaurant-sized kitchen where groups of students can cook meals together.
Your room will be equipped with everything needed to ensure your stay
at Hult Lodge is as comfortable as possible.

Lakeside living
Welcome to Hult Lodge at Lake Merritt, a lakeside home away from home where students
from around the wolrd will meet, learn, share,
and build lifelong relationships. Built in 1926
and redesigned by Hult in 2014, the historic
building has been transformed into student
housing with modern amenities. Hult’s redesign encompassed every inch of this classic
building, while maintaining its charm and style.
And the location is unbeatable—lake views
combined with the convenience and activity
of the Bay Area’s center for food, music, and
culture.
Specially designed for students
From the relaxing social areas to the rooms,
Hult Lodge was designed with the student
experience in mind. Your new home is the
perfect environment in which to study, relax
with friends in the Great Room student lounge,
soak up the California sun on the patio, cook
a meal together in the large shared kitchen,
or get in a workout at the on-site gym. Hult
Lodge also features laundry facilities, a dining
area, high-speed wireless Internet access
throughout the building, and around-the-clock
security.
A safe student experience
Access to Hult Lodge is limited to residents,
guests of residents, and Hult staff. Security
staff are on duty full-time, and the building is
equipped with a security system. Hult’s Housing Manager and staff will help ensure you feel
safe and comfortable throughout your time at
Hult San Francisco.
Live alongside classmates from around
the globe at Hult Lodge
Hult’s student housing provides space for you
to get to know your housemates and become
part of a close-knit community. All residents are
Hult students from around the world. Students
in double rooms live alongside a fellow Hult
roommate of the same gender. Sharing a
room is a great opportunity to experience the
Hult journey together and possibly learn about
another culture. You will be matched with a
compatible roommate, based on the results of
the Hult Lodge roommate form that you will fill
out. It is also possible to request a roommate,
if there is someone that you already want to
share a room with. Both students will have
to request each other on their forms for this
request to be considered. Roommate placements will be announced prior to students’
arrival in San Francisco.

Hult Lodge is fully furnished with a modern design and includes all new fixtures. Rooms are
either single or shared between two students,
and include one large shared bedroom/study
space and a private bathroom. Choose the
accommodation that suits you—you can
select from our Premium Single, Standard
Double, or Premium Double room types. All
room types are equipped with everything
required for comfortable student living, including an en-suite bathroom.
Hult Lodge rooms are the ideal choice if you
are looking for extra comfort. However, for
those seeking a little extra space, our Premium
Double rooms include additional storage
cubbies and enhanced in-room facilities.
