BAKE-AT-HOME CELEBRATION COMBINATION COOKING INSTRUCTIONS Best if served by Monday, May 11, 2015. Serves 8 – 12 people. Start with the Lasagna, this takes the longest to bake. (100 – 120 minutes) Since preheating and actual oven temperature and capabilities will vary, cooking to 165 degrees in the center is your doneness guide, not time. LASAGNA Keep lasagna refrigerated until ready to bake. Remove the “Cook Thoroughly” sticker before baking. Cook thoroughly. (DO NOT PUT LASAGNA PAN IN MICROWAVE) For food safety and quality, follow these instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. Leave foil covering lasagna tray, do not vent. Place lasagna pan on baking sheet, top or middle rack. Cook for 100 to 120 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the lasagna reaches 165 degrees in the center 3. Heat meat sauce in the microwave for 2-3 minutes (sauce container is microwavable) 4. Remove baking sheet with lasagna pan from oven. Carefully peel aluminum foil and parchment paper off of the lasagna 5. Stir and portion the meat sauce evenly across the top of the lasagna 6. Portion the cheese evenly across the top of the lasagna. Place the lasagna on the baking sheet, uncovered, back in your oven 10 -15 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Remove baking sheet with the lasagna pan from oven 7. Let stand 20 - 30 minutes to set, which is important for best results. If the lasagna is not allowed to set, it will not stand up tall once transferred from the baking pan to the plate SOUP (After you take the Lasagna out of the oven, let’s heat up the Soup!) Keep Soup refrigerated until ready to heat. (DO NOT PUT SOUP CONTAINER IN MICROWAVE) 1. Portion soup into a sauce pan. Reheat on Medium heat for approximately 15-20 minutes or until temperature of soup reaches 165 – 175 degrees, stirring occasionally 2. Reduce heat to simmer 3. Add pasta/kale/spinach as appropriate and continue to simmer until ready to serve BREADSTICKS (After the soup is heating for approximately 10 minutes, begin baking the breadsticks!) 1. Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees. (DO NOT PUT FOIL BAG IN MICROWAVE) 2. Take breadsticks out of the bag and place on a baking tray; bake in oven for 6 - 8 minutes, rotating tray halfway for even browning 3. Remove hot breadsticks from oven. Carefully brush breadsticks end to end with liquid margarine provided, using approximately 1 ½ Tbsp. per 12 breadsticks 4. Sprinkle breadsticks generously from end to end with garlic salt, using approximately 1 Tbsp. per 12 breadsticks Serve your Bake-At-Home Celebration Combination hot and enjoy. Happy Mother’s Day!
