General Rules of the Own your life Rewards Programme
The Own your life Rewards Programme (“Programme”) is operated and
administered by Own your life Rewards (Pty) Ltd (“We”,”Us”), Registration Number
1998/009122/07. Own your life Rewards (Pty) Ltd is a separate legal entity from
Liberty Holdings Limited, Liberty Group Limited and Liberty Medical Scheme.
These are the General Rules of membership of the Programme. The Programme
consists of 3 separate components (“Subscriptions”):
•Lifestyle Rewards Subscription, which is the basis component You will be
subscribed to automatically when you become a Member of the Own your life
Rewards Programme. (see Annexure A);
•Travel Subscription, which You can subscribe to for a further fee, in addition to
the Lifestyle Rewards Subscription. (see Annexure B);
•Fitness Subscription, which You can subscribe to for a further fee, in addition to
the Lifestyle Rewards Subscription. (see Annexure C);
These General Rules constitute an agreement between You and Us and govern Your
and Our rights and obligations once Your Membership of the Programme starts. The
Programme entitles You to participate in Subscriptions that provide you with Benefits
We offer using Partners. From the moment You transact with any of Our Partners the
transaction will be subject to their terms and conditions, including any fees or charges
they may levy.
Membership Fees
To become a Member of the Programme, You need to pay a monthly Membership
fee as set out in the tables below. You confirm that We are authorised to draw
Membership fees against Your nominated bank account. All Membership fees quoted
below are inclusive of VAT.
We may change fee structures and will notify you of any changes.
You have to participate in the Lifestyle Rewards Subscription before you can select to
participate in either the Travel or Fitness Subscriptions. You may select to participate
in both the Travel and the Fitness Subscriptions.
Definitions
The fee structure for Members who joined from 1 January 2015 is:

Member or You is the person contracting with Us.
Additional Subscriber means a person that is married to You or with whom You are in
a union recognised by law, or an Adult Dependant, being a person that is older than
18 years, but under the age of 21 years, unmarried, Your biological child, Your stepchild,
Your adopted child or Your foster child, that is in addition to You also subscribed to any
of the available subscriptions. Adult dependants aged 21 or older must provide proof
of education in order to be added as an additional subscriber. Proof of education must
be emailed to [email protected]
Benefit means any benefit, reward, discount and/or Lifestyle Rands allocated to You
as a result of your Membership of the Programme.
Complimentary Lifestyle Rewards Subscription means the Benefits provided by
the Lifestyle Rewards Subscription, but excluding the Benefits of Free Movies, Match
Day Tickets, Parking, Home Assistance Services and/ or Additional Offers and Deals.
Fitness Subscription means the subscription providing the Benefits as described
in Annexure C. You may select to participate in this subscription in addition to the
Lifestyle Rewards Subscription. You cannot participate in only the Fitness Subscription.
Lifestyle Rands means a Benefit earned by a Member for transactions effected by
a Member from time to time at Lifestyle Rewards Partners and further described in
Annexure A. 1 Lifestyle Rand is equal to 1 ZAR.
Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance means the collection of Lifestyle Rands earned
and allocated to a Member.
Lifestyle Rewards Partners means rewards partners participating in a rewards
programme offered by our Partner Legacy Lifestyle (Pty) Limited, which programme
participation is a Benefit under the Lifestyle Rewards Subscription.
Lifestyle Rewards Subscription means the Benefits as described in Annexure A and
which forms the basis of your Membership of the Programme.
Lifestyle Rewards Partners and/ or Partners means third parties with whom We
enter into arrangements to enable Us to provide You with the Benefits under the
Programme.
Programme or Own your life Card means the card made available to You which,
when activated, grants you the right to earn Benefits at our Partners, dependent on
the Subscriptions You selected.
Travel Subscription means the Benefits as per Annexure B. You may select to
participate in this subscription in addition to the Lifestyle Rewards Subscription. You
cannot participate in only the Travel Subscription.

We may amend the General Rules or any Programme Rules from time to time. If You
use any Subscription after We have posted an amended version of the applicable Rules
on the Programme website, We will be entitled to assume that You have agreed to be
bound by the amended version of the relevant terms and conditions.
We are always updating the Subscriptions. We may add, remove or change
Subscriptions and add, remove or change the Benefits within each Subscription at
Our sole discretion. If We do make a change, We will always let You know at least 20
business days in advance. The changes will be available on Our website, which We
encourage You to visit regularly.
By using any one of the above Subscription, You and Your Additional Subscribers
acknowledge that You and Your Additional Subscribers have read, understood and
agreed to these General Rules, and have consented to Us sharing certain Personal
Information with Our Partners in the ordinary course of Our business and them sharing
Personal Information or trends regarding your usage of Benefits with Us.
Personal use of Subscriptions
Only You and any Additional Subscribers may use the Benefit provided by, through
or on behalf of any Partner. You will only have access to the Benefits under the
Programme if your Membership fees are up to date.
Eligibility
To become a Member of the Programme, You must:
• Be a South African resident; and
• Be 18 years of age and older
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to refuse any person access to the
Programme or to remove them from the Programme.
* Please note that eligibility criteria apply to the Travel and Fitness Subscriptions,
which criteria is determined and changed at our sole discretion. We reserve the right,
at Our sole discretion, to determine whether You qualify for any subscription.

You may add or remove subscriptions at any time during the course of Your Membership
but may not retain subscription to only of the Fitness and/or Travel Subscription. Any
change to the subscription will affect Your next debit order on the selected date on a
pro-rata basis. Your participation in the Fitness and/or Travel Subscriptions, if selected,
shall be activated on Your selected debit order date for Your Membership
You agree that, if it is possible for Us to consolidate these subscription fees due with an
existing monthly debit-order instruction in favour of the Liberty Group of Companies
against the same bank account, We shall be authorised to do so.
You agree to advise Us, in writing, of any changes that may occur in Your banking
details.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel Your subscription to any one or more subscription for You or Additional
Subscribers by providing notice either by email, in writing or via the Contact Centre,
one (1) calendar month before the cancellation date. Termination of Your subscription
to a subscription will be effective on the last day of the month, following the calendar
month notice period. Subscription fee adjustments and collections will be updated
accordingly and will cease on the termination date.
During this notice period, You may spend, donate or transfer Lifestyle Rands to any
other Member’s Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance, failing which You will forfeit all the
Lifestyle Rands in Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance within 36 (thirty six)months.
What happens if You don’t pay Your Subscription Fees
You will be automatically defaulted to the Complimentary Lifestyle Rewards
Subscription if you stop paying subscription fees on Your Lifestyle Rewards
Subscription.
If you do not pay Subscription fees on any of the other additional Subscriptions
you selected to subscribe to, your Subscription and access to Benefits under those
Subscriptions will stop immediately.
Ending Your participation in the Programme
We may end Your Membership in the Programme at any time and for any reason, on
30 (thirty) days’ notice to You. You will be given 36 (thirty six) months to spend Your
Lifestyle Rands unless:
•We believe Your behaviour was inappropriate, constituted misconduct and or is
considered abuse of the Programme
•You breached these, or any other, terms and conditions relevant to the
Programme
•A fraudulent transaction was conducted directly or indirectly by You and/or
Your Additional Subscribers
•You allowed a Benefit to be enjoyed by any person, entity or business not
entitled to do so.
In the event of any of the above applying, We reserve the right, without prejudice to
any of Our other rights and remedies in terms of these Member Rules and in law, in
Our sole discretion:
•To declare your Benefits, including Lifestyle Rands in Your Lifestyle Rands
Rewards Balance, forfeited
•To immediately terminate Your Membership of the Programme or Subscription
available on the Programme
and/or
•To reverse or cancel any transaction relating to the aforementioned conduct
and hold You liable for any value which You have received in terms of such
conduct.
If We terminate Your participation in the Programme or any specific Subscription, We
will not be liable for any damages of any nature suffered by You or any third party.
We are not responsible for loss
We will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature that You or Your Additional
Subscribers might suffer as a result of interacting with Us, or obtaining or using Benefits
from Partners under any circumstances, including as a result of Our negligence or that
of our servants, agents, contractors, Partners or other persons for whom We may be
liable in law. By agreeing to these General Rules, You and Your Additional Subscribers
and any third parties you engaged with in respect of the Benefits indemnify Us and the
Liberty Group of Companies accordingly.
In the event that any of Our Partners can no longer supply us with a Benefit offered
under the Programme we will notify you timely. We will use best efforts to replace the
Benefit, but You may not hold us liable should we no longer be able to offer a Benefit
on the Programme, whether we decide to cancel the Benefit or if our Partner can no
longer supply the Benefit.
No legal relationship
Neither You nor Your Additional Subscribers have any legal relationship with Us, other
than being bound by the Member Rules and to receive any Benefits as and when You
and Your Additional Subscribers may be entitled to do so.
Tax implications
We strongly recommend that You obtain independent professional advice about the
potential tax implication arising from the receipt, accumulation, attempted transfer
or spend of any Benefits including Lifestyle Rands. Transfer refers to the transfer of
Benefits including Lifestyle Rands to another person, business or entity. You are fully
responsible for any tax implications arising from or associated with any Benefits
received, accumulated, transferred or spent due to being a Member of the Programme
or subscription.
Nature and purpose of information provided by the Programme
We provide various kinds of information and tools on Our Website and in Our
brochures, emails and SMSs, about Our Programme and Subscriptions, Our Partners
and other third parties. This information is only meant to serve as a guideline and You
should not place any reliance on it without verifying the information with Us.
Unless expressly otherwise stated, none of the information must be treated as:
• An offer as it serves merely as an invitation to do business with Us; or
•Financial, legal, investment or professional advice of any kind as You must
consult a professional adviser before You rely on any information that is
published on or Website or on the results of any calculators provided on Our
Website.
Access codes
For security, identification and verification purposes, when You interact with us on the
Programme, You will be required, depending on the nature of Your interaction activity,
to enter one, or a combination of the following Access Codes - User ID, Programme
Membership Number and PIN, and OTP.
Because We communicate with You through the Internet, via SMS or over the
telephone, You agree that We are entitled to assume that You have authorised all
transactions once Your Access Codes have been entered or provided.
You are responsible for giving correct, valid information and instructions when
registering for the Programme and when conducting transactions with Us or Our
Partners. You are also responsible for providing Us with Your most up-to-date contact
details, as and when they change.
• User ID:
Your User ID will be Your South African Identity Number, or e-mail address or
Selected Cell Phone Number.
• Programme Membership Number and PIN:
Your Programme Membership Number is your Mobile number as captured by you
when activating your Programme Profile
Your Programme PIN is a 5-digit Personal Identification Number.
If You are registering for the Programme via Our Website or via Our Contact Centre,
then You will be required to select your Programme PIN.
If You forget Your Programme PIN, then You may request Our Contact Centre to
SMS an OTP to Your Selected Cell Phone Number.
•OTP:
A One Time Pin is a number that We will send to You by SMS to Your Selected Cell
Phone Number to enable You to transact and to make certain changes on Our
Website and to transact on Our Online Partners’ websites with Us.
Privacy
We respect Your privacy and Your personal information. We will take all reasonable
steps, in accordance with Our Privacy Policy, to protect Your personal information and
to keep it confidential, even when You are no longer a Member of the Programme.
We are committed to transparency and confidentiality relating to Your personal
information and that of Your Additional Subscribers. Your information and that of

Your Additional Subscribers is collected, processed and stored internally by Our staff,
representatives or sub-contractors. By activating Membership of the Programme or
accepting any terms and conditions, You give Us consent to obtain, process and share
such information with Our Partners. You are entitled at any time to request access
to the information We have processed. You also further authorise Us to obtain Your
information from Our Partners regarding You and Your Additional Subscribers’ usage
of the services offered through the Programme. You further warrant that You have
obtained the prior consent of Additional Subscribers.
If You contact Our Contact Centre on 0860 608 908, You permit Us to record Your
calls for security reasons, customer care and to comply with various laws.
Links to Third Party Websites
For Your convenience, the Website contains links to the Partner Websites. By making
the hyperlinks available, We are not endorsing our Partners’ Service Terms, Third
Party Websites, their content, products, services or owners. It is Your responsibility
to obtain all information relevant to making a decision and to read the privacy and
security policy on our Partners’ and any third party websites.
You agree that publishing a notice on the Website or sending You a notice once You
log into the Website, or via email, sms or post will constitute sufficient notice to You.
Please remember that You are responsible for providing Us with Your most up-to-date
contact details, as and when they change.
For contractual purposes, You consent to receive communications from Us
electronically and You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other
communications that We provide to You electronically satisfy any legal requirement
that such communications be in writing.
Should You fail to raise an objection with Us within twenty-four (24) hours after We
have sent You a notice, You will be considered to have accepted the transaction or new
setting as being valid and binding in all respects.
Availability of Our Website
The Programme website may be unavailable from time to time due to routine
maintenance or emergency repairs or because of the unavailability of any electricity,
telecommunication system or networks.
Communication with You
As a Member, You agree that We, the Liberty Group of Companies (if you so consented)
and its third parties (if you so consented) will communicate with You via email, web,
SMS or telephone.
You may choose the medium of communication that You prefer by notifying Us on
[email protected].
Lost, stolen or damaged Programme Cards
If Your Programme Card is lost, stolen or damaged, it is Your responsibility to cancel
Your Programme Card immediately by contacting Our Call Centre.
Submitting complaints or queries to Us

SUBSCRIPTION
In addition to the General Rules, You agree to be bound by these Rules in respect of
Lifestyle Rewards Subscription which you will automatically be subscribed to, when
joining the Programme.
The Lifestyle Rewards Subscription provides You through our Partners with:
• Access to Lifestyle Rands
• Free movies
• Match Day tickets
• Free parking
• Assistance Services
• Additional special deals and offers.
When You transact with Partners and Lifestyle Rewards Partners (see Lifestyle Rands
section below) associated with Your Lifestyle Rewards Subscription their terms and
conditions will apply regarding to the transaction You enter into with them.
Access to Free movies, Match Day tickets, Free parking, Assistance Services and
Additional deal and offers, is subject to eligibility criteria.

Force majeure
Should We or any Partner be prevented from fulfilling any of our obligations in
terms of these terms and conditions as a result of an event outside our control, for
example floods, riots, strikes, telecommunications and electrical supply interruptions,
then those obligations shall be deemed to have been suspended to the extent that
and for so long as We or any Partner are so prevented from fulfilling them, and Your
corresponding obligations shall be suspended to the corresponding extent.
Should an event of force majeure continue for more than 90 days, the relevant
affected Partner or Us shall be relieved from its/ Our obligations under the Programme
and We will use best endeavours to replace the relevant Loyalty Benefits provide by
the affected Partner.
Lifestyle Rands
Your subscription entitles you to free access to a programme offering Lifestyle Rands,
as operated by our Partner Legacy Lifestyle (Pty) Limited (“Legacy”). In terms of this
programme you can earn and spend (redeem) Lifestyle Rands when transacting with
Lifestyle Rewards Partners, as specified by Legacy from time to time. One Lifestyle
Rand equates to one South African Rand in spending power when earned or spent
(redeemed) at participating Lifestyle Rewards Partners.
Fees and charges are applicable to Your participation in the Lifestyle Rands programme
and will be deducted from your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance.
You acknowledge that Lifestyle Rands cannot be converted to cash and that in the
event of the Legacy programme being terminated for any reason, that You may forfeit
the Lifestyle Rands in Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance.
Current fees
You authorise Lifestyle Rewards Partners to charge You as follows, which will be
deducted from Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance:
•
3 Lifestyle Rands transaction fee, whenever You elect to redeem Your
Lifestyle Rands for a purchase. If You have insufficient Lifestyle Rands to
pay the transaction fee, the transaction at the Lifestyle Rewards Partner will
be processed subject to your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance reflecting a
negative 3 Lifestyle Rands;
•A transaction fee of 20% of the Lifestyle Rands once earned;
•A 10% transaction fee where You request to transfer Lifestyle Rands to another
Member’s Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance;
Lifestyle Rands will reflect in your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance immediately after
the transaction at the Lifestyle Rewards Partner has been approved, but can only be
spent (redeemed) 30 days after the transaction at the Lifestyle Rewards Partner.
There are no limits on the number of Lifestyle Rands that You can earn whilst a
Member.
Lifestyle Rands will not accrue to or be earned by You in respect of goods or services
that have been discounted by a Lifestyle Rewards Partner.
Certain products or services offered by Lifestyle Rewards Partners may be exempt
from earning Lifestyle Rands.
Lifestyle Rands shall be valid for a period of 36 months from the date on which they
are earned.
Rules relating to the redeeming of Lifestyle Rands
For accommodation You will be able to redeem Lifestyle Rands by booking through
the Legacy Travel website or call centre only.
In the event that You cancel an accommodation or travel booking, in which the
payment was made, in whole or in part, using Your Lifestyle Rands, the Lifestyle Rands
spent will be forfeited and will not be refunded to you.
Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance
Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance may be suspended for use if it has a negative

balance or alternatively if there is suspicious and abnormal Lifestyle Rands Rewards
Balance activity.
Lifestyle Rands are not cash
You may not sell, issue, exchange, barter or redeem Lifestyle Rands for cash.
Lifestyle Rands may be transferred into or used to purchase a gift voucher. You
may transfer Lifestyle Rands from your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance to another
Member’s Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance.
Dormant status of Your Rewards Balance
If You do not activate your Lifestyle Rewards Subscription profile within a period of 6
months from subscribing, Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance will be considered
dormant. Legacy will then deduct a Dormancy Administration Fee of ten (10) Lifestyle
Rands from Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance for every month until You have
either earned or spent Lifestyle Rands, or until Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards balance
is zero, whichever occurs first. Once You have reached a zero balance, Legacy may
close Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance.
Deceased estates
All Lifestyle Rands accumulated will be forfeited upon notification of Your death and
the Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance will be closed accordingly.
Movies on us
Cinema Movie - You can access the cinema movie by means of an electronic voucher
code which We will send you after you visit Our website. Each electronic voucher code
is valid for movies showing in the week that the voucher code is generated and are
available on a first-come-first-serve basis, while stocks last.
In absolutely no circumstances can vouchers or movie credits be sold or gifted to third
parties by a Subscriber.
Match Day Tickets
You can book tickets for selected Rugby and Cricket SA matches. The tickets to the
Rugby and Cricket matches are accessed via Our website.
You can book a maximum of two (2) tickets per subscriber in a calendar week. The two
(2) tickets are issued per match.
Bookings for tickets closes five (5) days before the match.
Tickets are assigned in pairs with associated paired seating randomly allocated within
the stadium.
Tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, while stocks last.
If You opt for Match Day tickets in a calendar week, then You cannot get a free Movie.
Free Parking
You can park for free at Sandton City and Sandton Square, Eastgate and Midlands Mall.
To get four (4) hours free parking, insert your Programme Card into the payment
station after inserting your parking ticket into the parking station. We will pay for
the first four hours of your parking, this applies to Eastgate and Midland mall. For
Sandton City and Sandton Square insert your OYL card at the booth of the entrance
and exit. Parking can only be used by subscribers. By making use of the parking, You
acknowledge that you agree to the terms and conditions of the Parking Operator.
If You cannot produce a valid Programme Card, You will have to pay for the parking
Yourself.
Home Emergency Services
You will have access to home emergency repair services by calling 0860 690 908.
The service is available, 24 (twenty-four) hours a day, 7 (seven) days a week. The
benefit only applies to those home emergencies that need to be fixed within two (2)
hours, and which will cause damage if they are not fixed.
You can call the number three (3) times a year. We will pay for the first R1 000 (one
thousand Rand) of repairs per incident. If the repairs cost more than R1 000 (one
thousand Rand) You need to pay the repairer the balance Yourself, in cash.
•We will not pay for any parts.
•Assistance will be provided in the event of non-emergency repairs, but You will
then be liable for costs and must settle directly with the service provider at the
time of repairs.
•The repairs will only be carried out at Your home, i.e. not at Your place of work
or outside of Your home.
•A repair incident is considered per service category, e.g. if an electrician is called
out to repair a fault on the distribution board, as well as an electrical connection,
this is treated as one call out.
•Electrical Repairs include:
•Distribution boards, circuits, main cables
•Earth leakage relays
•Geyser connections, thermostats and elements
•Plug points causing power failures
•General house wiring
•Light fittings or switches causing power failures
•Lightning strikes on wiring
•Burnt connections
•Connections to all electrical motors e.g. electric gate motor
•Municipal connections inside of the property
•Plumbing Repairs include:
•Visible burst water connections and pipes
•Municipal connections inside the property
•Blocked drains, toilets, baths and sinks
•Geyser overflow valves (lacto and pressure release)
•Locksmith Repairs include:
•Keys broken off or lost for the main entrance or exit to a house.
•Appliance Repairs include:
•Fridges
•Freezers
•Washing machines
•Stoves (only if complete function is lost – if one or more plates are working it
is not deemed to be an emergency repair)
•Electrical Repairs excludes:
•Electric gates and doors
•Jacuzzi, swimming pool or borehole pumps
•Air conditioners and commercial refrigeration
•Repairs not complying with regulated specifications such as SABS and
others
•Geyser solar panels
•Plumbing Repairs excludes:
•Jacuzzis, swimming pools or boreholes
•Leak detection inspection
•Repairs not complying with regulated specifications such as SABS or others
•Locksmith Repairs excludes:
•Burglary incidents
•Outbuildings
•Padlocks
•Safes
•Appliance Repairs excludes:
•Damages to cosmetic parts (parts not influencing the operation of the
appliance)
•Repairs to items damage due to theft, rust, fire or ordinary wear and tear
•All appliances not listed above.
Dial a Handy Man
•Call 0860 690 908, available 24/7.
•You pay for the services rendered, but We will send out the Handy Man.
•The handyman service would include but is not limited to:
•Fixing broken door handles
•Replacing light bulbs
•Hanging pictures
•Moving furniture
•Replacing mouldy grout etc.
•
Provide your members with access to reputable and reliable service
providers.
Additional Special Offers and Deals
Cape Town Fish Market
This benefit excludes goods already on discount will exclude all in store promotion
specials. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other in store promotions. It
does not apply on bills combining items on promotion and those not on promotion,
bills will not be split for the discount to apply. If Own your life Rewards membership is
cancelled the offer will no longer be valid. This benefit is valid for members, partners
and immediate family. It is not transferable.
Col’Cacchio
This benefit is only valid for the holder of the voucher. This offer is valid for a maximum

of two people per coupon. The voucher is not valid for use in conjunction with other
restaurant discount promotions.
Piatto
This voucher cannot be used in conjunction with current specials. This offer is not
available at Piatto uShaka Marine World (KZN), Gateway (KZN), Florida Road (KZN)
and Pavillion (KZN).
Mangwanani
This benefit excludes goods already on discount will exclude all in store promotion
specials. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other in store promotions. If
Own your life Rewards membership is cancelled the offer will no longer be valid. This
benefit is valid for members, partners and immediate family. It is not transferable.
Exclusive Books
The Own your life Rewards Discount Sticker can be applied to any product on the
website provided the product is not on promotion. Own your life Rewards Members
have to register as a member of the Exclus1ves.co.za website in order to qualify for
the Liberty Own your life discount at Exclusive Books online. Own your life Rewards
Discount Stickers are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Own your
life Rewards Discount Stickers are only valid online at Exclus1ves.co.za and not at
any of the Exclusive Books retail stores. If the Own your life Rewards membership is
cancelled, the customer will not qualify for the Rewards Discount Sticker and will lose
all accumulated Reward Stickers.
Travel portal
You will be given access to a Travel Portal through which You can book air travel,
accommodation, car rental and travel packages from a number of suppliers like
airlines, hotel groups, car rental companies and other travel related companies. To
participate in the Travel Subscription, You must meet the eligibility criteria We apply
at the time and pay the applicable Travel Subscription fee.
When You transact with any supplier via the Travel Portal it will be subject to the terms
and conditions of that supplier, including any fees or charges they may levy.
We will give You a Loyalty Benefit, by crediting Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance
with Lifestyle Rands equal to your booking fee (see Annexure A on how to use these).
Where You make use of travel services using Your credit card, You are liable for the full
costs of the services booked.
Competitions and campaigns
We will from time to time arrange for Your participation in competitions or campaigns
where You can win travel related prizes or receive discounts on travel related services.
We will notify You of any new competitions and campaigns You may participate in.

ANNEXURE B
RULES APPLICABLE TO THE TRAVEL SUBSCRIPTION
As a subscriber to the Lifestyle Rewards Subscription, You may in addition participate
in to the Travel Subscription for a fee, that We may change from time to time. You
will then be subject to these Rules in addition to the General Rules. To participate
in the Travel Subscription, You must pay the applicable Travel Subscription fee and
have a debit order within the Liberty Group of Companies (“Liberty”). This is subject to
review at Liberty’s sole discretion.
The Travel Subscription allows you access to the following through our Partners:
• A Travel Portal
• Competitions and Campaigns
• Airport lounge access
• Car rental discounts and rewards.
The prize of LR1 000 for the first 100 domestic flights is:
• LR1 000 off the first 100 flights booked in a calendar month (valid until 30 June
2015).
The prize of LR500 for the second 100 flights is:
• LR500 off the second 100 flights booked in a calendar month (valid until 30 June
2015).

You will have free access, subject to time limits, to the Bidvest Premier Lounge when

for a maximum of 1.5 (one-and-a-half) hours

International Lounges through Priority Pass
You will have free access, subject to limits, to the Priority Pass Lounges when You
swipe Your Priority Pass Card at any of their 700 Lounges internationally when you
book an international flight online through the Travel Portal.
• A maximum of 3 (three) hours per visit will be allowed.
• A maximum of 3 (three) visits per Member per calendar year applies.
If You stay in the airport lounge for longer than the times specified above, Your credit
card will be debited to settle Your own bill A maximum of three friends and /or family
qualify for a discounted price if accompanied by You.
Car Rental
•You will get up to up to 25% in Lifestyle Rands, on the rental rate in South Africa,
when You book online through the Travel Portal.
•If you transact with Avis, You get 10% off the published rental rate in South
Africa when you book online through the Travel Portal. An additional 15% of the
rewardable rental rate will be earned as Lifestyle Rands within 48 hours of the
return of your vehicle.
•If you transact with Europcar, you will get 25% earned as Lifestyle Rands on the
total rewardable rate. 48 hours after returning your vehicle.
You can use the discounts subject to the following:
•Each booking must be at least 3 (three) consecutive week days long or 2 (two) consecutive weekend days long. Each booking cannot be longer than 23 (twenty-three) days.
•Your bookings in a calendar year shall not be greater than 40 (forty) days.
•The booking being made at least 3 (three) days prior to travelling and in your personal capacity.
•The booking being made with a valid credit card
WorldSIM
•The SIM card is free of charge to members who have booked an international
flight through the Own your life Travel portal.
•Airtime to the value of 1 USD (exchange rate at time of activation) is loaded
on the card. The member is be responsible for topping-up and paying for
additional airtime through the WorldSIM website.
• Each member will be issued with one SIM card.
ANNEXURE C
RULES APPLICABLE TO THE FITNESS SUBSCRIPTION
As a Member of the Programme and a subscriber to the Lifestyle Rewards Subscription,
You may in addition participate in the Fitness Subscription for a fee, that We may
change from time to time. You will then be subject to these Rules in addition to the
General Rules. To participate in the Fitness Subscription, You must meet the eligibility
criteria we apply at the time and pay the applicable Fitness Subscription fee.
We reserve the right to cancel Your Fitness Subscription if:
• Your debit order payments in respect of the subscription fee are rejected.
• Eligibility criteria are not met.
You cannot activate both the Virgin Active benefit and the Planet Fitness benefit.
Virgin Active
You enter into separate agreements with Us and Virgin Active.
If you have an active Virgin Active contract the Fitness Subscription will provide you
with a Gym Benefit. The Gym Benefit = Number of visits to the gym in a calendar
month x benefit per gym visit as per the table below.

You can expect to receive Your Gym Benefit as long as You:
•Go to the gym 6 (six) times or more in a calendar month, and
If You visit the gym more than once per day, only one visit will count for the purpose of

Your Gym Benefit is capped at Your monthly gym fee. If You are a Classic Member at
Virgin Active, then Your gym benefit is capped at R1 000.
Your Gym Benefit is paid monthly in arrears within two weeks of the start of the
following month.
The Gym Benefit will be deposited into Your nominated bank account. Unless
otherwise requested, this will also be same bank account used for the Gym Benefit
(if any) of Additional Subscribers. We reserve the right to deposit Your Gym Benefit as
Lifestyle Rands into your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance (see Annexure A).
This Gym Benefit is available on a standard one-year Virgin Active gym fee. This fee
varies by club type. The benefit is not available on any membership specials that Virgin
Active may run.
The benefit is applicable to all Members subscribing to the Fitness Subscription, from 1
May 2014, and from 1 June 2014 to existing members that have been with Virgin Active
for more than 12 (twelve) months. Members that have had the Virgin Active benefit for
less than 12 (twelve) months move onto this new benefit in month 13 (thirteen) of their
Virgin Active contract.
You are bound by the cancellation rules of Virgin Active.
Under-18 members at Virgin Active do not get a subsidy through the Fitness
Subscription.
The Cross Trainer
You can get a 30% (thirty per cent) discount on purchases at The Cross Trainer stores
in the form of Lifestyle Rands (see Annexure A). The 30% (thirty per cent) discount
applies on non-sale items on the first R3 000 (three thousand Rand) You spend in a
12-month (twelve-month) cycle.
You pay the full retail price upfront and then receive Your Lifestyle Rands, equal to 8%
(eight percent) immediately. The 22% balance of Lifestyle Rands will be credited in 4
(four) quarterly installments to your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance provided your
Fitness Subscription is still active.
The Lifestyle Rands will reflect as pending on Your Lifestyle Rands Rewards Balance.
25% of the applicable Lifestyle Rands will become available at the end of the first
month following Your qualifying purchase at The Cross Trainer. 25% of the applicable
Lifestyle Rands will become available at the end of the fourth month following Your
qualifying purchase at The Cross Trainer. 25% of the applicable Lifestyle Rands will
become available at the end of the seventh month following Your qualifying purchase
at a The Cross Trainer. 25% of the applicable Lifestyle Rands will become available at
the end of the eleventh month following Your qualifying purchase at The Cross Trainer.
Race Day Entries
A maximum 20% will be reimbursed.
Lifestyle Rewards are payable once Own your life has validated that you have
completed the selected race.
Reimbursement will only be done when entering online for the event through the OYL
website.
Please refer to the terms and conditions for each event.
Own your life and its partners reserve their rights to remove or change event
information, without prior notice.
Own your life and its partners are not responsible for the cancelation of events and any
loss, damage or liability to you.
Planet Fitness
You enter into separate agreements with Us and Planet Fitness.
Your Gym Benefit can be:
•Paying only R80 for regular Planet Fitness membership.
OR
•A 50% discount off the standard Planet Fitness Platinum rate for a 12 month
membership.
•This is subject to signing a contract with Planet Fitness and presenting proof of

membership of the Fitness Subscription generated on Our website.
You authorize us to collect your Planet Fitness membership fee from You via debit
order. If You are already a Planet Fitness member, then You need to wait until Your
existing Planet Fitness contract runs out before You can use the Gym Benefit available
on the Fitness Subscription.
You can expect to receive the Gym Benefit as long as You are a paying your Fitness
Subscription fees.
The Gym Benefit is available on a month to month basis. The benefit is not available on
any membership specials that Planet Fitness may run.
You are bound by the cancellation rules of Planet Fitness.
ANNEXURE D
RULES APPLICABLE TO CAMPAIGNS AND COMPETITIONS
Campaigns and Competitions run from the Start Date until the End Date. No late
entries will be accepted.
The judges’ decisions on all campaigns are final.
Specific terms and conditions apply to certain prizes. We may on request, demand or
require any participant and/or prize winner to complete and submit an information
disclosure agreement to enable Own your life to ensure that any participant or prize
winner has complied with the Campaign rules. Should any participant or prize winner
be found not to have complied with these rules, s/he will be automatically disqualified.
Prizes can differ from their images. Images used are purely for illustrative purposes.
Once a winner has been selected and there is difficulty in contacting the winner, We
will to take 7 (seven) days to contact him or her. If, after 7 (seven) days, the winner
cannot be reached, We reserve the right to select another winner in the place of the
previous winner.
No late correspondence is entered into and no late entries are allowed.
We have the right to withdraw a campaign or change a prize at any time.
Winners consent to their name, image and likeness being used and published by Us in
connection with the Campaign and at Our sole discretion.
The Campaign is only open to persons residing in South Africa and eligible to be
Members. The winner may be requested to produce a valid South African identity
document or South African passport and proof of residence when claiming the prize.
We reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to amend the rules, or to cancel or suspend
campaigns.
Our staff and Members whose subscriptions have been suspended, due to nonpayment of their Membership fees, are precluded from participating in a campaign.
The prize is not negotiable or transferable and may not be exchanged for any other
prize and will be valid for 6 (six) months from announcement of the winners.
The prize will under no circumstances be handed over or paid to a third party, and will
only be handed directly to the verified prize winner.
Entering into this Campaign does not create any obligation on Us, its agents,
employees or shareholders, nor do the participants acquire any rights in law.
Unsuccessful participants will have no claim or action whatsoever against Us as a
result of participating in this Campaign.
We are not responsible for and accept no liability for participation in the campaign, or
any injury or loss sustained while using any of the prizes awarded in campaigns.
We are not responsible for and accept no claim or action arising from the failure to
observe or perform any duties or obligations in accordance with any law, license,
