TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION AND RULES FOR GALLERY AT BETHLEHEM CHAPEL DESCRIPTION OF THE GALLERY SPACE: The gallery ground floor has 89 m2, the space intended for live exhibition has around 65m2. Plans and photos of the gallery you find on our websites. Internet connection will be provided as a free wi-fi for visitors/exhibitors private use. Water/waste connection is available. Please be aware of limitations during exhibition performances. Air-conditioning is not installed in the gallery. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO: hang objects on the ceiling or the walls, even use of adhesive gum for posters; drill, hammer or screw into the flooring, ceiling and walls; place sand, soil or grass on the flooring (not even if protected by sheets of plastic); varnish, paint or spray on the walls or floors; smoke anywhere in the building or use an open fire, hazardous chemicals, explosives and substances endangering health; THE GENERAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: all structures whose surface is not coated must be isolated from the flooring; when using self-adhesive tapes (esp. carpet tapes) on the flooring, paper tape should be used as an underlayer; ELECTRICITY: In the gallery space is very limited electricity. Therefore PQ Organizer highly recommends using just equipment which will be provided by PQ. In case the Exhibitor will use some extra electrical appliances (above what provides PQ) it is possible just upon approval by PQ Organizer in advance. PQ Organizer and Exhibitors will agree the final version of Makers project (including the technical setup) by March 31, 2015. In case of using extra electrical appliances – any connecting with provided equipment or plugging into the mains have to do just PQ Organizer (PQ Technician responsible for all technical matters will be on the spot during the exhibition all the time). The exhibition space is equipped with electrical outlets type CEE7 standard sheet XVII / IEC884-1 European plug, CEE 7/16 „Europlug“ EN50075. Please note the different standards of sockets and voltage in different countries and have the adapter prepared if necessary. All technical equipment inside an exhibition must be certified according to the European standards ISO for review and technical competence with a revision date not older than 6 months. For rented equipment it is an exhibitor’s responsibility to provide the certification from suppliers.
