We wouldn’t normally buy a new house but realised how fantastic this house was when we stayed the night here. The house is well designed with quality fittings, excellent light levels and lots of storage space. We couldn’t stop smiling when we moved here and don’t plan to ever leave. It’s such a pleasure living here that most of our free time is now spent at home. We found Solidspace great to deal with. They’re very friendly and efficient and have their hearts in the right place. They’re not just out to make a profit but want to design spaces that people enjoy living in. They’ve made a big difference to the quality of our lives which we’re extremely grateful for.” Graham and Gill, Essex Mews © Solidspace 2013 Page 3 of 16 66-68 Stapleton Hall Road Two inspiring new family homes The development Stapleton Hall Road, designed in collaboration with Stephen Taylor Architects, is a unique development of two four bedroom houses arranged on seven half levels that form a mirrored pair. The houses, located in N4 in Stroud Green, aim to challenge yet complement their existing Victorian neighbours through material use of red brickwork, grey tiled roofing and painted timber windows. These high-quality, energy efficent homes are full of spectacular natural light and volume due to the split level design. Consequently, the key social spaces of the homes--eating, living, and working-- remain connected yet still feel private.
