Dr Bruce Mackay has been a veterinarian for 30 years since graduating from the University of
Queensland (BVSc) in 1979. Spending most of his time in small animal private practice, he has a
wealth of experienced with small animal veterinary medicine. His clients and their pets inspired him

achieved his dream of becoming a Fellow of The Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in 2000.
Dr Mackay co-founded Veterinary Specialist Services with the idea of providing excellence in

Although very keen in all aspects of internal medicine, his special interests include gastro-enterology,

volumes to this veterinarian who has seen so many changes in his time as a veterinarian.
