CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST CLINICIAN EDUCATOR FACULTY LINE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES STANFORD UNIVERSITY The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a full-‐time faculty member in the Clinician Educator Line on the Pediatric Psychosomatic Medicine Service, at the rank of Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor, to conduct clinical care and teaching in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The position will be based at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The chosen candidate will serve as an attending psychiatrist and provide clinical care. The position includes attending on the inpatient Pediatric Psychiatry Consult Service at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford and will include work on a new clinical trial on patients with pediatric acute-‐onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS). The candidate will also have a role in a new Partial Hospitalization Program being developed to treat children and adolescents with chronic pain syndromes and somatoform disorders. The hospital is scheduled to expand in the next few years and the candidate will have the opportunity for program development in the new pediatric hospital. Major teaching responsibilities will be fulfilled as part of the regular clinical activities, and include supervision and didactics to medical students, residents, and fellows. Clinical research opportunities are also available. Applicants must have a medical degree or equivalent degree and possess or be fully eligible for a California medical license. Applicants should have experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and either be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
