Wed., July 8, 2015: Dr. David P. Keseg, medical director
of the Columbus Division of Fire, will speak on: “Saving
Lives with Hands-Only CPR" (w/CPR training provided)
and Gail Hogan will speak on: "Proposed Hands-Only
CPR Legislation" and share her heart success story.
Wed., Aug 19, 2015: Dr. Charles A. Bush, a long-time leader
at OSU and former director of the Richard M. Ross Heart
Hospital, will speak on: "Changes In and the Development
of Knowledge and Management of Cardiovascular Issues
from the 1960's to the Present Day"
Thurs., Sept 10, 2015: Dr. William T. Abraham, director
of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and a
professor of internal medicine, physiology and cell
biology at OSUWMC will speak on: "Reversing Coronary
Artery Disease and Heart Muscle Damage"
Wed., Oct 14, 2015: Dr. Robert Cooper, MD, assistant
professor, clinical, Department of Emergency Medicine, will
speak on: "Chest Pain in the ER - Are Cardiac Workups
Doing More Harm Than Good?" A talk about a body of new
evidence that less testing may be better for your health.
