2015 NJ Conservation Poster Contest – Mercer County Winners Theme: Local Heroes….Your Hardworking Pollinators Students in grades 2-12 were invited to participate in the annual NJ Conservation Poster Contest, which is sponsored locally by the Mercer County Soil Conservation District. The Mercer County winners are listed below. The first place winners advanced to the statewide competition, where students earned recognition (indicated in parentheses after their names below). These students will receive prizes from the state sponsor, the New Jersey Association of Conservation Districts. Mercer County Poster Contest Winners 2nd – 3rd Grade Category 1st Place: Raymond Qin, West Windsor 2nd Place: Jamie Creasi, Hightstown 3rd Place: Yerseo Urena, Trenton 4th – 6th Grade Category 1st Place: Cassie Wang, West Windsor (1st Place state level) 2nd Place: Raymond Jin, Plainsboro 3rd Place: Vanessa Quan, West Windsor 7th – 9th Grade Category 1st Place: Stephanie Luo, Lawrenceville 2nd Place: Janet Zhang, West Windsor 3rd Place: Amy Wang, Princeton Poster by Cassie Wang , Grade 5, West Windsor 2015 Statewide Winner, 4-6th Grade Thanks a lot to bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and all other pollinators. They present us with honey, vegetables, fruits, bread, sugar, milk etc., and a beautiful life.
