Metaform has been operating in Christchurch since the mid 1980’s with a long list of satisfied
customers throughout New Zealand. Our success has always been in our flexibility and ability
to help our customers find solutions to their unique challenges. This comes from Metaform’s
long history and varied skills.
As a local manufacturer with a strong network of suppliers, Metaform is able to manufacture in
any quantity. Because our final products are not imported our customers are not restricted to
order minimum quantities and lead times can be reduced considerably.

prototyping, manufacturing and installation, Metaform can provide useful input.

fabricated products that look great and
will last.
We primarily fabricate from mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium where no job is too big
or too small. Our versatility and highly skilled team allow us to work for a wide variety of
customers and customer types.
We primarily work with light gauge materials and have a strong network of suppliers to
devise a complete solution.
Metaform can offer practical input to design and many of our customers like to involve us
from concept to installation.
Our own powdercoating facility allows us to control the quality of finish and ensure timely
delivery.
A 2008 survey of our customers gave us an 8.5 out of 10 for quality.

Metaform: Fantastic Finish...
Powdercoating is an extremely tough method of painting metal products that has a great
finish. Metaform’s long history of powdercoating and highly skilled staff ensure a quality finish
that will last. We understand the preparation techniques required to ensure the powder will last
for many years.
Metaform aims to offer the most flexible powdercoating service in Christchurch. We can offer
any available colour with a 3 day turnaround (subject to volume). Our oven will take up to 6
metre lengths with dimensions of 5900 (l), 1060 (w) & 1850 (h). However, we do have the
capability to powdercoat some products outside of these dimensions.
We have developed our own powder colours that are very popular with those customers that
use them. ‘ Metaform Silver’ and ‘Metaform Chrome.’
Metaform also offers a wet spray service and other additional finishes including galvanising,
chrome plating, anodising, brushed and polished metals.

practical design and manufacturing solutions. A proud history of local light manufacturing with
an understanding of the latest legal and environmental guidelines to ensure customers maximise
output and achieve their desired effect.
With general fabrication and powdercoating in-house we can offer a high quality product at a
very reasonable price. We also offer a light modification and assembly service when
customers want their existing products altered.
A Strong network of designers, lighting consultants and wholesalers will ensure our
customers get the best complete package.
