Upon becoming a flexible member I agree to be bound by the provisions of the Articles of Association of the Company, the
Byelaws of the Club and the Rules of the Captain’s Committee. As a subscriber to the Flexible Membership Scheme I acknowledge
that no voting rights are conferred. I consent to receive documents via website/in electronic format. I have read, understood
and agree to be bound by the Conditions of Membership shown on the reverse of this document.

If I am accepted as a member of the Club:1.
I consent to receiving documents and information (“Documents and Information”) as a member of the Club in electronic form
and via the Club’s website (www.mhgolf.co.uk) (the “Website”) unless I indicate below that I wish to receive Documents and
Information in paper form.
I understand that the Club will notify me when the Documents and Information are available to access on the Website and that
you will provide me with details of:
a)
the place on the Website where the Documents and Information may be accessed.
b)
how to access the Documents or Information.

I consent to the Club sending or supplying the Documents and Information to me in electronic form via the email address
provided overleaf for these purposes.
3.
I understand that there may be particular circumstances in which the Club needs to send Documents or Information to me in hard
copy rather than by Website or email, in which case the Club reserves the right to do so.
CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP (EXTRACTS FROM THE BYELAWS)
5.1 Membership is open to all persons without discrimination subject to:
(a) Completion of a satisfactory interview and
(b) observance at all times of the Articles, Rules, Byelaws and objectives of the Club
5.2 Every applicant for Membership shall submit an application form to the Administration Director. When an application is
received, the applicant’s name shall be displayed in the Clubhouse for 14 days. In that period the applicant shall be
interviewed and may be provisionally approved.
5.3 Applicants for Membership will be interviewed by the Men’s Captain, Ladies Captain or Junior Organiser, as
appropriate, who may in their absolute discretion reject or provisionally approve the application. No reason shall be given
to any applicant in the event of rejection.
5.4 If on the expiry of the 14 days no Member has raised objections, the applicant shall become a Member upon payment
to the Club of the amounts required in Byelaw No. 7. If any Member raises an objection it shall be referred to the Captains
Committee for a final decision.
FLEXIBLE MEMBERSHIP SCHEME: Conditions of Membership

Subscriptions are paid annually in advance and are due by 5.00pm 30 April. Current rates will be displayed on the
Club’s website.

Members of the Scheme are members of the Club with full access rights and privileges subject to restrictions set out
in paragraphs 3-9 below.

Members will have a Flexible Membership bag-tag sticker which MUST be visible at all times while on the course

Scheme membership entitles you to play fifteen rounds of golf annually at any time (subject to tee availability). Each
year, you may purchase maximum two additional blocks of 5 rounds each on payment of £100 per block (or at such
rate as determined from time to time).

Members of the scheme may not: represent the Club in inter-club matches, be eligible to win Club Trophy
competitions, or take advantage of Reciprocal Golf arrangements with our partner clubs.

You may enter Club competitions, subject to holding an official CONGU handicap.
Members must hand in their Flexible Membership record card to the Golf Shop or Bar every time BEFORE playing and
sign their personalised yellow Flexible Membership tracking sheet.
You may introduce guests at members’ guest rate within these restrictions.
Membership of the Scheme does not confer any voting rights.
Members of the Scheme may convert to Full Membership status at any time, subject to paying the appropriate
balancing subscription.
