The Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp is already gearing up for its 30th Annual Gala and Auction, Mt.
Hood Kiwanis Camp presents a 1940’s themed Victory Brunch and GI Jive Show & Dance. We
are excited to share that the 2015 gala is returning to the Oregon Golf Club and is being held on
Saturday April 25th. Join us at one of Portland’s premier nonprofit events, and help us to
celebrate Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp’s life changing camp programs for people who have
disabilities!
We are pleased to announce that we are releasing our new five-year strategic plan in 2015. Our
updated vision for the camp will provide new ways for you to partner with our organization,
and help us make an impact on children and adults across the NW who live every day with a
disability. One of those opportunities is to purchase a sponsorship for either our daytime or
evening event at our 2015 gala. Thank you in advance for considering a partnership with our

About Us
For 82 years, Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp has partnered with the U.S. Forest Service to provide
individuals with disabilities an outstanding recreational opportunity in the Mt. Hood National
Forest. Each summer our professional staff and trained volunteers offer a unique opportunity
to more than 500 campers with cognitive, developmental or physical disabilities that include
Autism, Down syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, & Cerebral Palsy. Focusing on campers’
abilities, MHKC programs allow participants to enjoy activities adapted to their special needs —
adventure courses, fishing, hiking, horseback rides, canoeing, arts and crafts, swimming,
dances, and river rafting! MHKC has provided more than 16,000 campers with the magic of
camp. Thanks to these life-changing experiences our campers’ quality of life is greatly
improved!!
