2015 Stonegate Community Service Award & Scholarship
Program Overview
Stonegate Bank is proud to sponsor the Stonegate Charitable Foundation Community Service
Award & Scholarship. The award is presented to 5 high school seniors in Miami-Dade County
who have exhibited superior community service involvement during their high school careers
while maintaining high academic achievement. We strive to ensure that our efforts contribute to
the economic growth and well-being of our communities and desire to empower those who are
making a difference in the lives of others.
Stonegate Charitable Foundation Community Service Award & Scholarship is available to all
eligible students.

Five award & scholarship recipients are selected by the Stonegate Charitable Foundation
from the pool of honorees. To be eligible for the award & scholarship, an honoree must
submit four documents: a Scholarship Application, Resume, Supervisor/Mentor
Recommendation and Honoree Submittal form.
Honoree Selection & Submittal:
Each CAP advisor should help identify graduating seniors from Miami-Dade public high schools
that meets the criteria stated below.
The Criteria for selection of the award honoree is:
a) Minimum 3.0 academic grade point average
b) Demonstration of community service, within or outside the school, and the ability to
work harmoniously and unselfishly with and for others.
c) Must be qualified for free or reduced lunch
Graduating seniors who meet the criteria will be eligible to apply for the award and a $1,000.00
scholarship. After the honoree is selected, the CAP advisor should complete and return the
Stonegate Charitable Foundation Honoree Submittal Form postmarked by Monday, March 16,
2015. to the Stonegate Charitable Foundation Chairperson, marked to the Attention of Erin

Scholarship Application Submission:
To be eligible for one of the five awards and $1,000.00 scholarships, a completed Scholarship
Application, Resume, and completed Supervisor Recommendation and Honoree Submittal form
must be submitted by the honoree to the Stonegate Charitable Foundation Chairperson, Erin
Knight, postmarked no later than Monday, March 16, 2015. Honorees may use CAP advisor
assistance with the Scholarship Application. Once the Scholarship Applications, Resumes, and
Supervisor Recommendation forms have been received, they will be reviewed and five award &
scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee made up of Stonegate Charitable
Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors.
