CARNIVAL REGULATIONS
Teams & umpires to report to the registration area by 8.30am.
 Teams may consist of up to 12 players.
 A player can only be registered for one team. The team list must be verified
at the Registration desk on arrival.
 No alterations to teams can be made after that time.
(Clubs with more than one team in any division may not transfer a player to
the other team).
 Any combination of the 12 players can be played in any match.
Substitution rule as per Netball SA rule book.
Finger nails will be checked at 1st match only.
Matches will start and finish with Official Siren.
First named team will have the first centre pass, the other team will choose ends.
First named team to provide an official scorer for each match. (The plain white card
being the official scorecard). The opposition team will supply a check scorer.
MINOR ROUNDS:
All minor round matches will consist of two 12 minute halves, with 2 minutes interval
during which teams will change ends. No time will be held for injuries.
Bleeding injuries to be attended to in line with blood rule policies.
SCORE CARDS WILL BE SUPPLIED AT REGISTRATION.
THE UMPIRES WILL RETURN SCORECARDS TO THE CLUBROOMS
AT THE COMPLETION OF THE GAME.
Two (2) points will be awarded for a win. One (1) for a draw. Two (2) points for a bye.
Progressive points score will be displayed on the main notice board (located under
the verandah). In the event of a points tie between teams, where it is not clear which
teams will play in finals, their position shall be determined on percentage.
FINALS:
 Finals will consist of two 12 minute halves, with a two minute break in
between.
 In the event that the scores are level at the end of the second half:After a two minute break, an extra six minutes at each end will be played
without a break. Teams will swap ends after 6 minutes.
If the scores are still level at the end of extra time, the teams will continue to
play until one team has a two goal advantage.
St. John Ambulance will be in attendance.
Teams in finals must have an umpire available.
Neutral umpires may be allocated for finals.
