BOWL-A-THON FACT SHEET
HOW DO I SIGN UP TO BOWL?
Complete the registration form and return to the Midway
Chamber of Commerce

BOWL-A-THON GOAL:
To recruit 32 team captains with 160 bowlers (5 bowlers per
team) with the goal of raising $16,000 for the chamber’s
foundation and the YMCA’s Y Partners A minimum of $500 per
team is suggested.
WHAT IS Y PARTNERS?
Y Partners is our annual scholarship program. Funds raised
from the bowl-a-thon will be used to provide memberships to
youth, seniors, and families who can’t afford a Y membership.
Funds will be used to provide scholarships for swim lessons,
childcare fees as well for providing scholarships for youth to
participate in programs at the Y.
WHAT IS THE CHAMBER FOUNDATION?
The Midway Chamber of Commerce foundation was established
in 2015 to act as the philanthropic arm of the Chamber to
advance the business community by being a catalyst for
economic development through promoting the community,
being resource for young talent and preserving our rich
heritage. Funding helps keep our Midway Strong!
WHEN IS THE REGISTRATION DUE?
The registration fee is due with the team roster on
March 27, 2015. The registration fee is $30 ($6 per team member covers three games of bowling, rental shoes, and a bowl-athon t-shirt.) Captains can register team on-line at:

or by sending payment to YMCA.
WHEN ARE PLEDGES DUE?
Captains will collect donations from team members the day of
the Bowl-A-Thon (April 6th). Team captains are responsible for
submitting donations to the Midway Y representative at the
Registration table.
HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT THE BOWL-A-THON?
Become a team captain. If you can’t organize a team – recruit a
team captain. Consider sponsoring a lane or sponsoring on the
bowl-a-thon t-shirt. Consider providing a raffle item for the
bowler raffle and silent auction.
