Adherence with Oral Oncology Medications: Implications for Nurses
Researchers are continually identifying new and more effective therapies for cancer, including the
development of oral chemotherapy treatments. The effects of medication non-compliance results in poorer
outcomes for patients and wasted therapy regimens. During this program we will identify current treatment
of oral drug medication compliance, challenges of medication management on behalf of both the provider
and the patients, and share best practices on how to effectively educate and empower patients to
successfully complete their medication regimen.
Speaker: Eric Sredzinski, Pharm.D.
Organization/Affiliation: Vice President of
Clinical Affairs, Avella Specialty Pharmacy
