“Great route, great stadium finish,
plenty of water/drink stops, great medal,
great spectators, great goody bag, well
organised and overall great running
experience.”
Review of the 2014 MK Marathon, Runners World
website
“What a brilliantly organised event it was
– this was my second MK Marathon, and
I can’t fault the arrangements. The event
is clearly going from strength to strength
- you even managed to deliver great
weather this year!
I thought the venue was great - plenty of
toilets and a great atmosphere coming
up to the finish. The crowds on the route
were also really great - very supportive.”

everydayhero Milton Keynes Marathon & Half Marathon
Entries are now open for the everydayhero Milton Keynes Marathon & Half Marathon 2015 which will
take place on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May.
We have created a flagship running event in Milton Keynes in three short years with your help. This year
we had a record 5,000 entries plus 600 Superheroes and plan to grow these numbers. The impressive
stadium finish is great for attracting crowds of spectators and generating an amazing atmosphere.
BBC 3 Counties broadcast live from the stadium giving the event a lot of positive publicity and we
appeared on Look East in the evening.
A big ‘Thank You’ to the charities who manned drinks stations this year: Age UK, Rotary Club Brickhill,
Western Front, World Vision, Help 4 Heroes, The Parks Trust, St Francis, MK Grand Union, Florence
Nightingale and Humanitas Charity. We simply couldn’t have put on an event of this size without you.

impressed. A lot of work went into this and all

everydayhero MK Marathon
everydayhero is delighted to have the opportunity to
support charities and fundraisers in the everydayhero
MK Marathon for 2015 and 2016. The MK Marathon,
despite only running for 3 years, has already managed
to help partner charities raise over £1.5m for a range of
great causes.
The MK Marathon aims to raise £5m by 2017 and
engaging everydayhero to help increase fundraising,
create a first-class fundraiser experience and help
charities get closer to participants is an essential part of
that plan.
What is everydayhero?
everydayhero is the new generation of online
fundraising, brought to you by the same team as
Blackbaud Heroix and is launching this October.
Of course, we understand that online giving is about
processing donations.
But we understand your charity and your brand matter
too. The generous people donating to your supporters
should have the opportunity to see your message and
our charity branded fundraising and donation pages
ensure you have the chance to deliver just that.
We share 100% of the donor information with you –
they are your donors, after all.
And from your supporters, we’ve also learned that
giving isn’t just about money. It’s also about the time,
voice and effort that they give.
HER HEART. HER SOUL.
HER PASSION & CREATIVITY.
HER VOICE. HER INFLUENCE.
HER GUTS & DETERMINATION.
THEN AFTER 26.2 LONG MILES
HER SMILE AS WELL.
£984.00 RAISED FOR AUTISM.
The idea that ‘everything counts’ needs to be brought
to life if we are going to help our charity and event
partners offer the engaging and rewarding experience
their supporters are asking for.
The everydayhero Giving Footprint is launched this
October and delivers just that.
