Maniben Nanavati Women's College,
affiliated to S.N.D.T. Women's University,
Mumbai, is conducted by Shree Chandulal
Nanavati Women's Institute & Girls' High
School. It was established in June 1972 with
the aim of providing opportunities to women
to define, challenge and overcome barriers and
to increase their ability to shape their lives and
environment.
Emerging market economies (EMEs) are
increasingly becoming a dominant force in global
economic affairs. More open markets, new
consumers with strong purchasing power provide
immense opportunities for growth and investment in
these economies. But at the same time, the
economies are faced with numerous challenges like
poor infrastructure, weak institutions, wide regional
disparities, growing environment degradation which
must be addressed. Thus, there is a need to strike a
balance between development and sustainability.
Regional Disparities.
