April is here and only a few Patrols to go until the end of the season, thank you to everyone for all
the water cover, demonstrations and Patrols, making Moana a safe beach.
It has been a great “Clubbing Together” season.
Over the past month we have seen the Juniors, Seniors and Masters all compete in the State
Championships with great results and a fantastic spirt, well done to you all and thank you to all the
Officials for all their time.
If all three teams could come together and compete in the State Pool Championships I think we
would do very well, let’s give that some thought?
Now it is the start of the IRB season, good luck to you all.
There are still some great things to look forward to in the coming months, one of them being The
Club’s Presentation Night, BOOK YOUR TICKETS soon. (details next page)
Some say that things will slow down now, your Board of Management and the Facility Working
Group will continue working hard to maintain the Club is on track, ready for next season.

start April 11th , 18th, 25th, 2nd, 9th. This includes assessment.
New date for Spinal and Pain course set. 1-4pm. Saturday May 2nd
Spinal course can be attended by anyone doing current ARTC course, or who
already holds this award.
Completion of the ARTC,Spinal and Pain, can then go on to complete the Advanced
First Aid certificate (silver medallion) Final component of the course is a ful day
conducted by a trainer from Surf House.
