Hotel Details: We have reserved a block of rooms for families who plan to travel with the team
at the above hotels. Rooms are held for an arrival on 3/23/15 and a departure on 3/28/15.
Changes to and/or cancellations of your reservation must be completed 24 hrs. in advance of
the reservation date. Our contract states that all reservations need to be made by March 3 rd,
2015, however rooms may still be reserved under this block pending availability. Please see
reservation instructions below.
Check-in time is 3 pm.
Checkout time is 12 noon.
Parent Reservation Instructions:
Parents were emailed a link to reserve rooms under the discounted rates. This link will no
longer work after 03-02-15. Rooms may still be available at either hotel. In order to receive
the group discount rates, please contact Kori Kineshanko at the hotel directly. Kori can be
reached at 623-308-3963. Parents will be required to reserve their rooms with a personal
credit card and are subject to the Hotel's Rate Rules and Cancellation policy. You may also
contact Kerry Jacobs 303-358-8120 if you have additional questions about booking a room
under the Monarch Baseball Team group rates.
NOTE: HOTEL RATES ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE. If this rate is unacceptable to you, feel
free to contact other hotels in the Happy Valley area to make arrangements. Please do
not negotiate group rates.
Other Hotel Choices: The Residence Inn by Marriott and The Courtyard Phoenix Happy
Valley are on the same grounds. The two hotels share a pool, sport court and picnic
area. There are also many other hotel chains in the vicinity, if you prefer.
Rental Car Tip: Many rental car companies are available at the Airport. A less expensive
option (lower tax rate) is the off-site Avis location at 4469 East Thomas Rd., Phoenix

BAGGAGE INFORMATION
Baggage weight and size restrictions:
Each player will be checking in up to two bags and allowed one carry-on bag and one personal
bag (i.e. laptop bag).
The checked bag weight limit is 50 pounds. IF THE CHECKED BAG IS OVER 50 POUNDS THERE
WILL BE A $75 FEE EACH WAY PAID BY THE PLAYER. THIS WILL NOT BE PAID BY LSB.
The carry-on bag needs to be 45” or smaller in all dimensions. A duffle bag is recommended.
