In this role, David is responsible for managing all Aviation functions, including flight operations, fleet maintenance, dispatch, quality assurance and control, security, and safety. Furthermore, he is tasked with aligning his department’s objectives with those of Casino Marketing to drive incremental gaming revenue for our Company. Most recently, David served as Executive Director of Aviation where he oversaw the daily operations and personnel. In this capacity David was also responsible for updating departmental practices to achieve more efficiency and to ensure all federal and state regulations were met. Additionally, David served as a member of the Casino Marketing Committee. David Cox Vice President, Aviation David has more than 20 years of experience in the field of aviation. He joined our Company in 2013 from XOJET, Inc., where he was Chief Operating Officer of the California-based private aviation company, overseeing all operations and divisions. During his time as COO, David also served as a managing member of XOJET Aviation Services LLC, a joint venture with the United Arab Emirates. He first joined XOJET in 2006 as Director of Operations. Prior to that, David spent 13 years in a number of capacities with Atlantic Coast Airlines/Independence Air, which operated as United Express for United Airlines and as Delta Connection for Delta Airlines. Before his promotion to the company’s Director of Operations, he served in a variety of roles over the course of four years, including Flight Operations Manager, Training Manager, CRJ Fleet Manager, and Fleet Check Airman. David received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Management from California Miramar University in San Diego. He has been an FAA Designated Examiner, FAA Certified Instructor, Check Airman, and Air Transport Rated Pilot, and he is qualified to pilot various aircraft. I am confident that David’s extensive experience, business acumen, and approach to optimization will contribute greatly to our Company’s success.
