SENIOR INFORMATION:
1.
The countdown has begun! Graduation is next week. Be sure to check your senior calendar so you don’t miss
any important events. Return all Library and text books that you are not currently using and clear all fines.
Graduation Contracts are due to Patty Alba at the front desk. If you are planning to participate in the graduation
ceremony, you must turn your contract in to receive your tickets at the senior meeting. Senior finals will be held
TODAY periods 4 – 7 and TOMORROW periods 1 – 3. The senior brunch and senior meeting will be held on
Tuesday, May 26th. Graduation is on Friday, May 29th.

Gradnite at Magic Mountain is TOMORROW! If you are signed up to attend, be at the bus loading area at
5:30 pm tomorrow. You must follow the dress code that was handed out to you and obey all Magic Mountain
rules.
3.
Tickets for the Senior Brunch are on sale at the Activities Window. The cost is $3 and you must have your
student ID to purchase a ticket. The brunch will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at 9 am in the Campus
Center. We will have delicious breakfast burritos, fruit and drinks. Don’t miss out on your final senior activity!
4.
If you are planning on participating in the graduation ceremony, you must attend the Senior meeting on
Tuesday, May 26th at 11:00 am in the Main Gym. Instructions for graduation, tickets and other information will be
handed out during the meeting.
5.
Graduation practice is on Tuesday, May 26th at 4:30 pm SHARP at Rankin Stadium. If you are planning to
participate in the graduation ceremony on Friday, you MUST attend practice on Tuesday. Please remember – NO
HIGH HEELS ALLOWED!
6.
Seniors must fill out a transcript request form to send a final high school transcript to your college. Every
college will want to see a final transcript. Fill out the form in the Guidance Office!!

STUDENT SECTION:
1.
Monache will have athletic physicals for next school year, TOMORROW from 5:30 pm – 7 pm at the MHS
Administration Office. Cost is $10 cash at the time you take the physical. Forms are available at the MHS Activity
Window.
2.
The Activity Window will no longer accept checks. Only cash or money order, and only for the amount of
purchase.
3.
Next school year Monache students will have the opportunity to take a Porterville College course
here at Monache during the school day. This course will be free of charge and open to sophomores, juniors and
seniors. This course is transferrable to UC and CSU’s and is titled Introduction to Information Systems. This
course will focus on computer based information systems and networking. If you are interested in taking this
class, please sign up in the Guidance Office by April 27th.
4.
Summer Credit Recovery applications are still being accepted. See your counselor asap if you need to make
up credits.
5.
Attention all girls tennis players: There will be a mandatory informational meeting during lunch TOMORROW
in Mrs. Shearer’s room H-1. If you plan on playing on the awesome Marauder Girls Tennis team next year, please
plan to attend this meeting.

All textbooks need to be returned to the library by the end of the school year in order for your account to be cleared. As
the school year comes to an end please bring back all textbooks and library books that you are not using. The library is open
before school, brunch, lunch and after school.

Reminder – If you are planning to run for an ASB Office for next year, interviews will be conducted this week May 19-21. We will
be having a meeting TODAY during lunch in Mr. Contreras' Room S4 to go over the election rules.
8.
Attention all Wrestling Team members: The Wrestling Awards Banquet will be held TONIGHT at 256 E. Orange Avenue at the
Heritage Center. One block east of El Tap restaurant at 5pm.
9.
Anyone interested in running Cross Country next school year, please come to Mr. Ishida’s Room S-2 during lunch
TOMORROW for a very important meeting.

Staff: The Final Exam Bell Schedule was sent to your email. Senior finals are being held TODAY & TOMORROW (regular
bell schedule) and underclassmen finals on May 27th (7th period between 3rd & 4th); May 28th (4th, 5th & 6th periods); and May 29th
(1st, 2nd & 3rd periods).
