Good Morning! Today is Day 2. Please stand for the pledge to the flag.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for
which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Lunch today: General Tsao’s chicken, fried rice, veggie eggroll, and chilled fruit.
The annual Mini-college Fair will be held today in the Middle School Gym from
10:30 to 12:30. There will be 60+ colleges attending the fair. Please sign up in the
Counseling Office and get a pass if you wish to attend. There will be a shuttle
pickup and drop off at the new entrance by the nurse’s office.
A representative from Roger Williams College will be here tomorrow at 11 am, St.
Michael’s College will be here Thursday at 1:30 pm, and Merrimack College will be
visiting on Friday at 12:30. If you are interested in meeting with any of these
colleges, stop by the Counseling Office for a pass.
Attention Seniors! Be sure to get your Senior pictures, Messages from Home, and
Senior Directories in by October 31st. Pictures can be e-mailed, Messages from
Home can be given to Ms. Himmelstein in Room 102, and Directories may be
completed online on the High School webpage. Please see Ms. Himmelstein with
any questions.
The GAC Walkathon is October 26th. Members will meet at Rothermel Park at 10
am. Please pick up a donation form from Ms. Nytransky. All money must be
brought to the walk.
Attention Marching Band members! Anyone interested in purchasing UMASS
Band Day merchandise, please pick up the order form from Mr. Richburg.
Payment is due by this Friday, October 24.
There will be an informational meeting for Odyssey of the Mind tomorrow at 6:30
pm in the Middle School cafeteria. All students interested in being on a team are
encouraged to attend.
The following clubs will meet today after school:
Freshman Class Officers in Room 406. Please see Mr. Miller or Ms. Darcy if you
cannot attend.
The Video Game Design Club in Room 108.
The Art Club in Room 100. New members welcome!
There are no home games for the Riders today.
There will be late buses this afternoon. Please sign up in the main office before
1:00.
Important-Freshman and Senior Seminar Room Change today and tomorrow!
Freshman Seminar Classes are to meet in Room 412 today and tomorrow. Senior
Seminar classes meet in Room 113 today and tomorrow. Thank you!
