MVCC Art Walk 2015
Saturdays: May 16th, July 18th, Sept. 19th, Nov. 21st
2300 & 2400 block of Honolulu Ave. 9 am – 4 pm
The Montrose Verdugo-City Chamber of Commerce (MVCC) invites you to apply for spaces during our
2015 Art Walks. There are 4 dates available. The artist can sign up for as many or as few as they like.
Spaces are available along the sidewalk of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose at the West end, on the
2300-2400 Blocks. Some spaces are on the grass, under trees, in the sun, long, wide, or can
accommodate a 10 X 10 Canopy. When applying please let us know what your needs are and we will try to
accommodate when possible.
Please note the following:
1. $75.00 a space, 60 spaces available per Art Walk. Some spots are long, wide, circular, but most
add up to 50 to 75 square feet (give or take). ONLY 1 artist per spot.
2. First come first serve: To keep things fair, we will not hold or reserve a space without payment.
3. Set up begins at 8:00 am and the MVCC Art Walk runs from 9:00 AM TO 4:00 PM. NO early tear
down.
4. Artists, (when possible) demonstrate your work during the event with demonstrations.
5. Bring your own set-up: Table, chairs, easels, displays, etc. If using tents/canopies or umbrellas, let
us know; only certain spaces can accommodate these set-ups. Enclosed tents are NOT allowed.
**PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR SET UP IN YOUR APPLICATION**
6. While we understand that art is subjective, we do not accept the following into the Art Walk:
Factory made items, used clothing, resell of used items or food. Handmade crafts (Jewelry,
knitted, sewing, loom work, etc.) are acceptable, but must be made by hand.
ALL submissions are subject to approval.
7. Enclose 3 photos of your work and your website, Facebook, Etsy, etc. if applicable.
8. All art work or jewelry must be original and made by the participating artist. Any prints sold must be
prints or original works by the participating artist.
9. Sign-up for multiple events at once and receive discounts. See form below. If paying by check, make
check payable to MVCC.
10. In the event of rain or your absence, your fee is considered a donation—no refunds.
