MLFM is excited to present the Art in the Park event at the Moses Lake Farmers Market this 4th
of July. The Art in the Park feature of the MLFM will be held at McCosh Park from 8am to 2pm.
It's designed to provide a showcase for artwork produced in Central Washington. Exhibit and sell
your artwork to a large audience. We hope you will plan to join us for this special day.
Enclosed is an Exhibitors Contract form as well as a Terms and Conditions information
sheet.

Terms and Conditions 2015
MLFM Art in the Park
An artist shall be defined as the sole creator of the original work, and is expected to be in
attendance in the booth during hours of operation. With special approval, two artists may show
in the same booth. Both artists must be present and all rules apply to both as individual artists.
Participation is open to amateur and professional artists. MLFM Art in the Park welcomes
submissions in all brush media, hand thrown and hand built pottery, metal work, jewelry, wood,
glass, fiber, printmaking, photography, sketching and portrait work. All elements of art
submitted and displayed for sale must be original to the artist in concept, design and execution,
and should demonstrate the artist’s creativity and workmanship. No nude figure art will be
permitted at this show.
Booth space will be approximately 10’ X 10’. Larger booth space may be available for artists
performing demonstrations of their work at the event. Clearly visible signage is required,
including artist name, media definition, and must be at least 12”x24” inches in size. All signage
must be confined to the inside of the booth and shall have a professional appearance. Your
location will be determined by the coordinator on a lottery system.
In accordance with Moses Lake park rules, pets are allowed on leashes only. Per Moses Lake
ordinance smoking is not allowed in or around artists’ booths or in event area. Absolutely NO
alcohol and or illegal drug consumption is permitted in the park.
In the event of a policy violation, the official MLFM Art in the Park coordinator, in conjunction
with the Board of Directors, reserves the right to immediately restrict or remove any exhibit or
artist considered unsuitable or objectionable. Plagiarized or misrepresented art constitutes
grounds for immediate dismissal from the show. No electricity is available to Art in the Park
vendors.
Please plan to offload your booth items, and park in designated parking areas. Please refer to the
map for information on the best way to access your booth area, and parking. You may arrive and
set up at the park as early as 6 a.m. - the Art in the Park event runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Moses Lake Farmers Market membership and stall fees are NOT required to participate in
Art in the Park, however, a $20 non-refundable jury fee IS required. Each exhibitor must first be
subject to a jury process. Send 7 electronic photos of your work, and one of your display, booth,
or setup. Mail to PO Box 691, Moses Lake, WA 98837 or email to
[email protected]. No Jurying will take place until the jury fee of $20.00 is
received. Deadline for fees, photos, and jury forms is June 5, 2015. We will notify you no later
than June 12.

Contract/Hold Harmless Terms and Conditions
MLFM Art in the Park assumes no responsibility for any damage, loss or theft of artwork or personal
property. By signing the exhibitor contract, the artist and agrees to hold harmless the Moses Lake Farmers
Market, the City of Moses Lake, their officers, employees and agents.
I have read and understood all of the terms and conditions of the MLFM Art in the Park (see included
form). I agree to abide by any additional directions given by the director. All exhibitors will conduct
themselves in a professional manner, which includes obeying the laws and regulations of the City of
Moses Lake. Said policies will be enforced by the Moses Lake Farmers Market Art in the Park.
