Minnesota Birding Weekends and Weeks (MBW) now enters its 30th
season offering unique, modestly priced birding trips in association with
the MOU (we originated in 1986 as MOU Birding Weekends). We have
now had a total of 358 MBWeekends, 84 MBWeeks, more than 7,800
registrations, a composite list of 360 species seen on MBWeekends – and
680+ species in all including MBWeeks. In addition to MBWeekends,
please note our assortment of out-of-state MBWeeks (be advised some
may fill up the first day of registration) and their relatively inexpensive
cost – typically less than half the cost of similar tours operated by others.
To mark our 30th year, all MBWeekends (and MBWeek deposits) will be
ONLY $30, and plan to join us at Deep Portage Learning Center for our
special Memorial Day MBWeekend to celebrate 30 years of MBWs!
PLEASE NOTE: November 17 will be the first day that registrations
will be accepted for the 2015-16 MBW season (the confirmation of any
registration postmarked before November 17 will be delayed). Complete
descriptions of all MBWs, summaries of previous MBWs, registration
information, cost estimates of MBWeeks, and more will be posted on
the MBWbirds website (http://mbwbirds.com) on November 15.
