The Council will hold their October Board Meeting from 11 AM to 12:30 PM followed by a community forum. The Council encourages community members to attend and bring forward bold ideas for policy action that will improve the Black communities of Minnesota and their quality of life. The Minnesota Legislature created the Council on Black Minnesotans in 1980 to ensure that people of African heritage fully and effectively participate in and equitably benefit from the political, social and economic resources, policies and procedures of the State of Minnesota.
