Parents and guardians of fifth grade students that will be attending Beadle Middle School are invited to our Middle School Parent
Transition Night. This meeting is especially for those parents who have their oldest child moving to middle school as new sixth grade
student. Information will be shared about Beadle, expectations, dress code, conferences, parking procedures, and assisting your child
with the transition from elementary school to middle school. This meeting is for parents and guardians only.
Beadle Sneak Peek
Friday, May 1st
Friday, May 1st, will be a half-day of school for our current Beadle Middle School students. Current students will be dismissed
from school at 10:30 am so the 2015-2016 sixth grade students can come to the Beadle Sneak Peek to tour the building and
complete transition activities. Buses will run accordingly. Current students are asked to be picked up by 10:45 am so we can
prepare for the fifth grade students. Incoming fifth grade students will arrive at 11:30 am. Thank you.

BEADLE ASSESSMENTS
Eighth grade Beadle students will participate in the Science NeSA on April 20th and 21st. NeSA stands for the Nebraska State
Accountability. Please help your student(s) perform their best by ensuring they are well-rested and eat a healthy breakfast the day of
the assessment. If possible, please avoid late night activities prior to an assessment. Beadle students have historically performed well
on assessments, and we look forward to continued success this year. Thank you for your support.
2015-2016 SEVENTH GRADE PHYSICALS and SPORTS PHYSICALS
Nebraska Law requires every seventh grade student to have either a doctor’s physical or waiver signed by you before entering seventh
grade in August. If your child will be participating in sports, they are required to have a physical. Seventh grade physicals and Sports
Physicals must be dated after May 1, 2015. Seventh Grade Physical Packets will be mailed in April 2015. If you have any questions,
please call Mrs. Katie Kintzle, Beadle nurse at 402-715-6105.
