KHOR SOON KHENG (SK) was the first Malaysian to be selected as the member of
the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Congress Bangkok 2006 Conference
Organizing Committee and similarly the first Asian holding the position of PMI
Information Technology and Telecom Special Interest Group (5000 members) Asia
Pacific Chair.
LEE NAN PHIN has more than 28 years of experience in managing projects
in various environments; ranging from the Government, Financial Services
Industry to the Conglomerates, System Integrators and Independent
Software Vendors. He co-founded I-EnterpriseOnline, a software
company specializing in Java-based Internet enabled ORACLE applications
development and integration.
He was the Contributing Editor to PMI PM Network Magazine (250 thousands
circulation) , co-author of Advising Upwards and he is the founder of MSCPMP
Circle – a non for profit community exclusive of PMP® holders in 2008.
He is a Project Management Professional (PMP®) has more than 25 years of
International Complex Project Management experience with successful track records
of managing Mission and Life critical systems project implementation for FIVE
International airports – Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai Pudong (China), Inchon (Korea),
Guangzhou (China) and Beijing Olympic 2008 related Beijing Aiport Terminal 3 and
Cross Flagship Integration Architecture Project for Government of Malaysia.
He was Project Advisor for The MITRE Corporation, a Federal funded R&D Centers
for Government of USA for aviation projects in Asia. He was involved in system
development work in Oracle Corporation, Europe, USA and Asia Pacific and founder
of Design Migration Services. He is the Vice President and Director of Programs for
PMI Malaysian Chapter (2003/2004). He was the Senior Project Advisor for Beijing
Olympic 2008 Related Project Management Capability Improvement Program.
In 2014, he co-founded Accidental Project Manager ( www.accidental.pm) and
appointed as Member of Board of Study for Master Program for Open Univesity
Malaysia. In the Project Management Training and Consultancy services, SK has
been invited to present in many international Project Management conferences eg
PMI Global Conferences in USA, Europe and Asia and SK has chalked in more than
15 years experience and successfully delivered more than 750 PMP® since 2005.
Nan Phin is also the inventor of Fast Track Integration Methodology,
presented in the PMI Congress Asia Pacific 2005 and was involved in the
Beijing Olympic 2008 Project Management Capability Improvement Program.
Nan Phin was the Chairman of Malaysian National Computer Confederation
Open Source Special Interest Group and members of SIRIM/TC4 committee.
In Collaboration with MITI/CICC, he initiated the first Asia Open Source
training program in Kuala Lumpur and assists to facilitate the subsequent
programs in various locations in Asia from 2005 until 2009.
He is the co-author of ‘Foundation IT Project Management ‘and ‘Managing
Complex IT Project’ seminar. He also lectures for MSc. IT Programs in
Universities and Colleges. His teaches Open Source Licensing and Legal
Issues for one of the local university. His current involvement is in the
area of Systems Architecture and Business Intelligent. He has participated
in various system and infrastructure architecture evaluation and review
projects.
