checks are confirmed and endorsed.
Always Exercise extreme caution approaching Installations

Is the weather within Industry safe working limits &
suitable for planned work?
Suitable planned approach angle to the 500m safety
zone allowing for clearance offset in the eventuality of
unforeseen circumstances, using parallel indexing?
Confirmed that no other vessels or operations are
taking place inside the 500m zone which may affect
operations?
Confirmed the vessel is not carrying out any
maintenance work that could affect capabilities?
All manoeuvring systems tested including changeover
between, Primary, Secondary/Emergency control
positions and modes?
Is the Bridge (2 man) and Engine room (1 man) manned
correctly?
Bridge established / confirmed communications with
the Engine Room?
Confirmed the Power Management is suitable in the
event of main system failure?
Confirm location of propulsion Emergency stops and
check date of last function test with Engineer?

Function tested the primary & secondary/Emergency
steering controls?

Are Rescue Craft ready for immediate deployment?
