MSMS and the MSMS Foundation are hosting an Alumni Reunion Weekend on April 10 and 11, 2015, in
Columbus, MS.
The event will begin Friday evening with registration in our old class room building, Hooper, to start the
trip down memory lane. The journey will continue Friday evening with a performance of Tales from the
Crypt. The current cast of MSMS students will entertain and educate by bringing some of Columbus’s
historical figures to life.
On Saturday, MSMS will conduct tours through the familiar class room buildings and around campus so
you can reminisce and see the things that change and those that endure. There will also be an update by
the school and the Foundation to bring you up to date with what’s happening. We’ll lunch at a great
downtown Columbus restaurant and then challenge the current MSMS students to a round of trivia.
Saturday evening, we’ll spend the evening at Mississippi Brews, Bites, and Blues. This fundraiser for the
MSMS Foundation will celebrate all thing Mississippi and will have a variety of brews from the Lazy
Magnolia Brewery including new brews like “10” and old favorites like Southern Pecan to sample while
you catch up with old friends. Great food will be provided by a local restaurant and great music will be
provided by The Relics, featuring Ms. Dawn Barham. The event will take place at the Columbus Arts
Council’s Gallery located in the heart of Columbus’s downtown at 501 Main St.

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Courtyard Marriot until March 27. Single king or double
queen rooms are available at this new Columbus area hotel for a special rate of $92 per night. If you call

Schedule:
A detailed schedule will be available on the website soon (www.themsms.org). To help you make travel
arrangements until then, registration will begin at 4:00 pm on Friday, April 10, 2015 and Tales from the
Crypt will begin at approximately 7:00 pm that evening. Events on Saturday will go from 9:00 am to
11:00 pm.

Alumni $70
o For all alums who want to participate in the events on Friday and all day Saturday. This
ticket includes a Tales from the Crypt ticket, lunch on Saturday, and a ticket to
Mississippi Brews, Bites, and Blues. For all alumni who register by March 27, you will
receive a lapel pin that celebrates 25 years of MSMS alumni.
Guest $55
o For guests of alumni who want to participate in all events, includes a Tales from the
Crypt ticket, lunch on Saturday, and a ticket to Mississippi Brews, Bites, and Blues.
Child $20
o For the littles who will require childcare on Saturday evening. Note that an older child
who doesn’t need childcare and won’t be participating would not need a ticket.
Saturday Evening $30
o If you just want to come for the brews, buy this ticket. No extras, just brews, bites, and
blues.
