Identification of Missouri Otolaryngologists a. A listing of all identifiable practicing and active retired otolaryngologists in Missouri has been complied along with a -­‐2-­‐ VIII.

nearly complete list of emails. This will be the basis for future MSO communications to the Otolaryngologists of Missouri Corporation legal status a. The MSO is a not for profit Missouri corporation and is current with all required Missouri Secretary of State corporative documentation. b. Federal 501(c)3 status has been obtained and is in force c. Federal IRS Form 990-­‐N has been filed for 2015 MSO Bylaws were rewritten and approved in 2014 The MSO website has been completely redesigned and is being used for Society updayes and is capable of receiving Membership applications and fees through PayPal ($1.75 transaction fee) New Business a. Membership recruitment will be ongoing and will continue to be sought through email and website solicitation. b. BOG Governor Vacancy i. Dr. Wild will attempt to recruit a nominee c. Establishment of an Educational Committee i. Dr. Wild will recruit members for this committee to assist with the Big Cedar Lodge Meeting Program d. MSMA Commission on Interspecialty Medicine i. Dr. Wild will recruit a MSO Representative to serve on this commission e. 2015 Big Cedar Lodge Meeting: Combined Arkansas -­‐ Missouri Fall Meeting i. October 23 -­‐ 25, 2015 ii. MSO will be host iii. Contracts with Big Cedar Lodge have been approved and signed 1. Big Cedar Lodge will contract with us using the 2013 meeting rates 2. Future meetings after 2015 will likely be charged at a significantly higher rate iv. Dr. Raj Sindwani has accepted our invitation to be the featured speaker f. Discussion of the State of the MSO i. a wide ranging open discussion by the attendees concerning the current state of the MSO and future directions was heard. g.
