It is comprised of a factor of throwing volume and cumulative torque. A consistently high Workload is not recommended - lower it by resting. | Guide to Using Your mThrow PERFORMANCE AT A GLANCE Performance, is a 1 or 7-day average of your arm speed and mechanical consistency of your throws. An increase in this measure reflects better performance. | Guide to Using Your mThrow Arm Stress (Nm) ! Arm Stress, or Elbow varus torque, is a measure of the peak Torque imparted on the UCL during the pitch near the time of maximum shoulder rotation. Elbow torque is a very important variable in computing workloads - a high Torque measure is not good. Count ! Count is a simple measure of your throwing volume in a day or over a 7-day period. Pitch count is a critical factor in measuring workloads. | Guide to Using Your mThrow Arm Speed (RPM) ! Arm Speed is the peak rotational velocity of the forearm - this peak occurs slightly after ball release and can exceed 4500 degrees/second. Consistency ! Consistency is a measure of how repeatable your delivery is over time. A good Consistency measure indicates a thrower having a similar arm slot, elbow height, and max shoulder rotation pitch-to-pitch. | Guide to Using Your mThrow Arm Slot (º at release) ! Arm Slot is measured as the arm angle that the forearm makes with the ground at ball release. A sidearm arm slot is measured as 0 degrees, a three-quarter delivery is measured as 45 degrees, and an over-the-top delivery is measured as 90 degrees. Elbow Height (in) ! Elbow Height is reported as the vertical distance the elbow reaches at ball release. Elbow Height is relative to the starting position of a pitch or throw. A positive measure represents an elbow height above the starting position. A negative measure represents an Elbow Height below the starting position. | Guide to Using Your mThrow Max Shoulder Rotation (º) ! Max Shoulder Rotation is measured as the maximum angle the forearm makes with the ground prior to ball release. This measure is indicative of shoulder range of motion and can be used to track fatigue of a pitcher throughout a game or season. | Guide to Using Your mThrow Athlete Account | Sign Up | Guide to Using Your mThrow Tap Sign in if you have an existing mThrow™ account | Guide to Using Your mThrow Tap Sign up to create a new mThrow™ account Eenter first name last name e-mail | Guide to Using Your mThrow Choose and confirm your password Read entire Privacy Policy then tap I AGREE | Guide to Using Your mThrow Enter your age, select ATHLETE then tap NEXT | Guide to Using Your mThrow Enter your gender, height, weight and handedness then tap NEXT | Guide to Using Your mThrow Follow the onscreen instruction to connect to your sleeve | Guide to Using Your mThrow Select to start using mThrow™ Select to answer several questions and allow for a more personalized analysis | Guide to Using Your mThrow From Workload, Performance or Live Mode screen, tap the menu icon Tap Coach Connect to link to your coach and share data | Guide to Using Your mThrow Enter your coach’s email address The team name associated with your coach’s email address will appear here Select CHANGE TEAM to choose a new team | Guide to Using Your mThrow Coach Account | Sign up | Guide to Using Your mThrow Tap Sign in if you have an existing mThrow™ account | Guide to Using Your mThrow Tap Sign up to create a new mThrow™ account Enter first name last name e-mail | Choose and confirm your password Guide to Using Your mThrow Read entire Privacy Policy then tap I AGREE | Guide to Using Your mThrow Enter your age, select COACH then tap NEXT | Guide to Using Your mThrow Enter your team name, read message carefully, then tap SEND | Guide to Using Your mThrow If a player you coach already owns and has registered an mThrow™, his or her profile information will be transferred when they link to your team Enter contact information for each player you coach who does not have his or her own registered mThrow™, then tap NEXT | Guide to Using Your mThrow Enter players’ gender, height, weight and handedness then tap NEXT | Guide to Using Your mThrow Follow the on-screen instruction to connect to your mThrow™ sleeve | Guide to Using Your mThrow Select to start using mThrow™ Select to answer several questions and allow for a more personalized analysis | Guide to Using Your mThrow Coach Account | Managing Your Team | Guide to Using Your mThrow Players can request to join your team by navigating to the Coach Connect tab and entering your email address | Guide to Using Your mThrow Players’ requests appear on your Roster where you must either Accept or Deny by tapping appropriate button If a player you coach already owns and has registered an mThrow™, his or her profile information will be transferred when they link to your team Your team roster displays each player’s 7-day workload Tap Add More Athletes to add new player profiles (for athletes you coach who do not have their own registered mThrow™ | Guide to Using Your mThrow Tapping on a player’s name will display his or her Workload Once Workload is displayed, swipe left or right to navigate between Workload and Performance | Guide to Using Your mThrow Swipe left on a player, then tap Review Profile to view or edit that player’s profile | Guide to Using Your mThrow Select Delete to permanently remove the selected player’s profile and data Pairing your mThrow™ and Dumping Data | Guide to Using Your mThrow From Workload or Performance screen, tap the baseball icon to enter Live Throw mode | Guide to Using Your mThrow Bluetooth Connection Icon appears red with “x” when app is not paired to an mThrow sensor | Guide to Using Your mThrow Tap the settings cog wheel icon to pair with a sensor Select the desired sensor from the Available Sensors menu Active Sensor name displays once paired with mobile device you’re connected!
