On behalf of KPMG and Hawkamah, we are delighted to invite you to the launch of the newly established Audit
Committee Institute on 23rd March 2015 at the DIFC Conference Facility.
Both KPMG and Hawkamah share a deep commitment, expertise and reputation for promoting best practice in
corporate governance and financial reporting. We have come together to establish the Audit Committee Institute (ACI)
within the region, with the objective of providing information, resources and knowledge sharing opportunities, to help
audit committee members, directors and senior management enhance the effectiveness, integrity and oversight of the
financial reporting process.
We are honored to have His Excellency Hamad Buamim, Chairman of the Hawkamah Board, President and CEO of
Dubai Chamber and Board member of Central Bank UAE and Managing Director and Board member of Dubai World,
as our chief guest. At the launch event we will announce the objective and work plan of the Audit Committee Institute
and provide an overview of the events and activities planned for the year ahead. Further, we will share the results of
the KPMG GCC ACI Survey, and conclude the morning with some refreshments and networking.
