CEMA’s (formerly ICPA) Golf Outing is the premier golf event for the
petroleum industry in Connecticut. This year we return to a member
favorite course: Clinton Country Club in Clinton, CT, courtesy of club
member John McCall, Wilcox Energy. We rotate our venue among various
private and public courses across the state to give players a variety of playing experiences, and are pleased to book the Clinton Country Club along
the Long Island shore of Connecticut for our outing on June 1.
Clinton Country Club was incorporated in 1922 and the present course was
designed and built by Geoffrey Cornish, first as a 9-hole course in 1958,
then as an 18-hole course in 1968. Amenities also include a putting green,
driving range, and chipping green. Sean Busca is the club’s PGA professional on staff. Previously the club’s roots had gone back as far as 1895 as
the Menunketesuck Golf Club and as the Hill and Dale Club.
