2015 Easthampstead Men’s Seniors Open Wednesday, 10th June 2015 at Downshire Golf Complex Competition Rules The Easthampstead Men’s Seniors Open (The Competition) shall consist of 18 holes of Stableford play. The Competition will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as provided by the Royal and Ancient Club of St Andrew’s and any local rules at the time of the Competition. The Competition is limited to 66 players including guests and sponsors. The overall winner will be the player returning the highest Stableford score. Other major prize winners will include the highest scores in a number of ‘divisions’, a visitor’s prize and the best team score. The handicap range for each division will be set after the closing date of the Competition. With the exception of the 3player team event, no player may win more than one major prize and the visitor prize will only be awarded if a visitor does not win a major prize. Entry Conditions All entrants must be of amateur status as defined by the ‘R & A’ and a member of a recognised golf club within the English Golf Union. Entrants must be aged 55 or over on the day of the Competition and possess a valid active handicap certificate under the current handicap system. Evidence of current handicap, with CDH number where registered must be produced on the day of the competition. This is a qualifying competition for handicaps. Those with no current handicap may be allowed to compete but cannot win any major prizes. No refund of entry monies will be made after the draw for starting times on 4th June 2015. Tee times will be notified shortly after the draw has been made, and will also appear on the Easthampstead Golf club website www.easthampsteadgolfclub.co.uk The Competition Committee reserves the right to alter or amend the Competition Rules, the prize structure, to reject any entry or alter or amend the conditions of entry. Their decision on all matters shall be final.
