Competitors may only use wood and/or charcoal for competition. No open pits are allowed. Indicate power needed in appropriate space. In the event that a Cooking Teams’ sponsor conflicts with the Music City BBQ Festival, we reserve the right to limit sponsor’s exposure (example advertising would be limited to inside cooking space). 5. I also grant The Music City BBQ Festival permission to use any photos, videotapes, motion pictures or record of this event for any legitimate purpose. 6. I agree to clean the cooking site to the condition prior to my teams arrival. Cooking site will be checked by event staff prior to departure. Failure to clean cooking site appropriately will result in the inability to leave festival grounds. 7. Teams will be responsible for all contest supplies. 8. The Festival has the right to reject any application for any reason. 9. Load-in begins on Thursday morning and concludes Friday at 2:00pm. 10. Vehicles left in the cook areas will not be able to leave until the festival concludes on Sunday. Teams will be allowed only 2 load in vehicles. Also, any other motorized vehicles within the limits of the festival boundaries will be those operated by the Music City BBQ Festival and vendors. People with disabilities will be provided transportation as necessary. 11. Charcoal chimneys (starters) may not be placed on the parking lot surface directly. A grate or grill must be used to raise the chimney off the ground. 12.
