Some helpful insight from the lab:
I recommend Mod Podge to paste. Paste does have the ability to mold and is a tempting treat to pets. If
you’re just doing a fun project with your kids paste is a good on-the-fly product, but if you intend to
keep your bowl for a prolonged period of time, then go with the Mod Podge.
When using paste as your method of choice, make sure it is a thin mixture. If it’s too thick, you’ll get a
lot of paste flaking after your bowl has dried.
Use a plastic grocery sack to do your project on. It saves a lot of clean up time.
If using short strands of yarn, just dip into bowl of paste or Mod Podge. If using long strands, try using a
1 ½ inch paint brush- wrapping the yarn around the bowl and then soaking it with your paintbrush.
Dab a little Mod Podge or paste to the plastic wrap to help hold your initial yarn strands.
Good Luck and Happy Crafting!
