Single Airman Program Initiative The Air Force developed “SAPI” after receiving feedback from the 2010 Caring For People Forum, the Single Airman Summit, and various single Airmen focus groups indicating there was a need for programs to support single Airmen. The Office of Secretary of Defense provided funding for the Air Force to develop the program. SAPI Single Airman Program Initiative The program continues to enjoy funding at the Air Force level and filters down to our Hurlburt Airmen through the many SAPI events, trips and learning programs. The goal of the initiative is to provide resources that foster a strong cultural bond, mission and sense of community for single Airmen.
