Logical Reasoning section had many non-familiar questions, and also little tougher than last year Mathematics was quite tough. Legal Aptitude Papers had questions from past year papers and was very easy. Logical Reasoning had questions from CAT. Expected Cut Off for AILET: Cut Off List NLU, Delhi First List NLU, Delhi Last List Cut Off List NLU, Delhi First List NLU, Delhi Last List Expected Cut Off 97 to 101 94 to 97 2014 Cut Off 104 99 AILET Analysis 2015: Section Wise Topics Difficulty Level English Average General Knowledge Above Average Legal Aptitude Below Average Reasoning Above Average to Tough Elementary Mathematics Tough & Lengthy All the Best! Topics Reading Comprehension – 6 Questions. o Questions were lengthy and thoughtful Grammar based o Para jumbles o Idioms o Latin Phrases o Fill in the blanks o Common errors o Grammar questions were of “easy to average” level Around 28 -30 were from Current Affairs, rest was from Static GK. Few questions were off beat and difficult Majority of question from current affairs of the year 2015. A good number of questions were from International Affairs 10 questions from Legal GK 25 questions from Legal Reasoning Majority of the Legal Reasoning questions were form Past year papers of different exams Students who were well prepared with Legal reasoning question, this should have been easy. Students who had lots of practice for Legal GK, this should have been a cake walk. There was one set of puzzles which was taken from past year CAT questions. Another puzzle (mixing of chemical) was quite tough. This section was tough as it has lots of non-familiar questions. LSAT-India pattern questions were also present. Areas of Maths present in the paper: o Time-Distance-Speed o Ratio & Proportion o Work and Time Basic mathematics Surprisingly, no questions were based on ‘percentage’. Lengthy questions made this section the toughest one.
