Analysis – Important Pointers






The most important point to note for the XIMB-BMS Entrance Exam is the fact that while
each correct answer has +1 mark, wrong answers have a negative marking of -0.50.
There were four sets of papers in the exam, which varies in the number of questions being
asked. In one of the sets, there were 20 questions from English section while the other
sections of Mathematics, Economics and Logical Reasoning had 10 questions each. There
were questions from Statistics in the Logical Reasoning section as well.
In another set, there were 20 questions from the GA sections while the other sections of
Mathematics, English and Economics had 10 questions each.
Most of the questions had a difficulty level of “easy” to “above average”.
The questions from the economics and statistics were very basic.
Standard questions were asked from Logical Reasoning, English and Mathematics.
