Doug Richardson, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
NAIC, Adult Drug Court Program Director for Cleveland and McClain
County
Doug Richardson is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
working with Norman Addiction Information and Counseling
(NAIC) since October of 2010. His primary focus is Adult Drug
Court but Doug spent the first 9 years of his career working with
youth and family both in residential and outpatient settings. Doug
also works with adults in the Intensive Outpatient Program and
the Gambling Program. Doug is also currently an adjunct professor at the University of Central Oklahoma teaching in the Substance Abuse Studies program. Prior to working at NAIC, he
worked at an Individualized Care Facility for Mentally Retarded
Adults (ICF-MR) in Guthrie, OK as part of Millennium Medical
services. Doug has also worked for 5 years in long-term, residential
treatment for substance abuse/co-occurring disordered adolescent
females and their families in Guthrie, OK at Four Winds Ranch.
While in college he worked at the Referral Center in Oklahoma
City and at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Doug has a
Master’s in Human Relations degree from the University of Oklahoma. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Substance Abuse Studies
from the University of Central Oklahoma where he graduated
Summa Cum Laude.
Will Warner, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental
Health; LPC Candidate
NAIC, Purcell Drug Court Specialist
Will’s background includes a variety of agency settings. He has
worked as a first grade teacher, outpatient mental health rehab
worker, a food stamps/Medicaid/AFDC worker, a trainer to assist
clients on welfare gain and maintain employment, and a child
welfare worker. In outpatient settings, Will has worked with cooccurring substance abuse/mental health clients from self referred,
probation and parole, and child welfare referrals. Will has worked
in prison based substance abuse programs and has also worked in
drug court programs in five Oklahoma counties. Will is currently
employed with NAIC where he works outpatient therapy with
McClain County Drug Court.
