Course Objectives :
At the completion of this course Clinicians will be able to weigh up the pros and cons of the
various modalities of treating Pelvic Organ Prolapse and understand the various surgical approaches
both Vaginal and laparoscopic in managing related issues.
Course Description :
To revise the basic principles, indications and techniques of managing issues related to the Pelvic
floor. The sessions will include a series of Lectures by renowned experts in the field. The various
recommended treatment modalities will be discussed and demonstrated for stress incontinence and
surgical interventions for vault, anterior and posterior prolapse. Avoiding the potential complications
and their management will be adequately considered. Live surgical cases will be undertaken.
