Farewell Concerts
It is hard to believe that the end of the 2014-15 school year
is at hand. We wish our graduating Seniors the very best in
their chosen career path and that music continues to enrich
their lives.
Don't miss your chance to see and hear all of our amazingly
talented students in the upcoming free Farewell Concerts in
the NPAC.
Choral Concert, May 12 at 7pm
The Farewell Choral Concert is not to be missed! The performance will
feature all four NNHS curricular choirs, both show choirs, and the vocal
pop ensembles. In addition, special tributes to each graduating senior
will be made through media and the concert will conclude with a special
performance of an original work written and arranged by senior, Luke
Frees.
Orchestra Farewell Concert, May 13 at 7pm
The Annual Senior Farewell Concert will showcase the impressive
growth in technical ability program wide through impossibly difficult
repertoire. Solos of Tolya Kuznetsov, Paul Beckman, Audrey Iocca,
Taylor Kroma, Aditi Prakash, Anna Smith, Karrington Kim and Liz
Risley will pepper the performance throughout with virtuosic solos.
Concert goers will also be treated to a video in which animated versions
of our seniors will describe their favorite orchestra memories. Admission
is free, the experience is priceless.
Band Farewell Concert, May 14 at 7pm
On Thursday, May 14, 7pm, the Naperville North High School Band
Program performs their final concert of the year, entitled the Senior
Farewell Concert. As a “thank you” to the hard work and effort that our
seniors have done to make our program great, most of the literature for
this concert is chosen by the senior class.
The concert band will feature the selections Marche from the Love of the
Three Oranges, Marche Entracte, and Canton. The Wind Symphony will
perform Epinicion, Aquarium, and Ye Banks and Braes O’ Bonnie Doon.
Our Symphonic Wind Ensemble will close the program with March to the
Scaffold, Australian Up-Country Tune, and Vesuvius.
This concert is free and open to the public, and begins at 7pm in the
North Performing Arts Center. Come join us as we say goodbye, thank
you, and congratulations to our senior band members!

Best Wishes Mr. Pobst
This is the year Mr. Pobst finally graduates from High School! He
brought passion energy and a sense of humor to NNHS. We are
especially thankful for his generous support of the Performing and
Fine Arts. The orange and blue costumes and his willingness to
participate on stage will be missed.
We wish you the best Mr. Pobst!
